For people saying that Marinette is protecting Adrien by not telling the truth, I must remind you that his life could literally end if anything happens to his amok, so not telling could hurt or even kill him because he's the one who needs to protect his amok, but he doesn't know he needs to do that, so he will use the twin ring thinking it is a normal object when in fact holds his life...

It's likely Gabriel's wish wasn't to bring back his wife, given she wasn't dead. He likely wished to undo the negative effects of the damaged Peacock Miraculous, which required his sacrifice, given Natalie was likely dead by the time the wish was made.

Gabriel had already seen Emilie's recordings and hurt his son for so long while Nathalie also told him to stop, but only at the end he realize that he loves his son? And he still asks Marinete to lie, so that means Adrien can still have the memories of when his father hurt him, does Gabriel really expect Adrien to just forget? Not to mention that Tomoe got off scot-free and might very well go back to being a villain and screw everything...

i don’t think i can forgive the writers for sidelining adrien in the finale. all the things that i liked about the episodes are shadowed by the fact that CAT NOIR from “miraculous: tales of ladybug and CAT NOIR” doesn’t get to face off the big villain. gabriel, who was an emotionally abusive and neglectful father, is hailed as a HERO and his son believes it. adrien deserved to find out who his father really was and if ladybug and cat noir really were a TEAM like the show keeps telling us, cat noir would have been there.

So Marinette doesn't want to tell Adrien about who Monarch was,but what if she will tell Cat Noir about it withought knowing he is Adrien? Before the last fight she even gave Cat Noir a message "Gabriel Agreste is Monarch"!He didn't read that?

I'm going to be honest, the wish, the eutopia that came from it, left me uncomfortable seeing how everything is perfect. When something is too good to be true, it probably is, which is the case here with Gabriel's wish because what are the consequences for this perfect eutopia, like how long will it last, will the truth come out and cause chaos in the end. As for what happens to "Lila" at the end, at least for me, it seems like she's the balance/price for the part of the wish as Gabriel is part of the sacrifices for Emilie, but for Nathalie, we don't know what the price is and maybe because "Lila" is equivalent to Gabe for being a horrible person as it's the balance that Gimmi was talking about. I understand that "Lila" is the next Hawk Moth, but if her only motive to be a villain is her pettiness over Marinette, that isn't a good motivation. However, suppose she learns that she was part of the price for Gabriel's wish to create balance in the universe, plus her pettiness with Marinette, to me. In that case, that makes more sense as "Lila" would have not just hatred towards Marinette but extends towards Adrien now as he's Gabe's son, and she'll put all the blame on him, putting a bigger target on Adrien. I think "Lila's" role as the villain next season is to make not just Marinette's and Adrien's lives miserable but everyone in their lives, from their friends and family because we see in Timetagger that Nino's little brother was akumatize. We know that Chris has a slight crush on "Lila" at the end of the episode, and who's to say that she won't abuse that to turn Chris against Nino and the miraculous team? The following season is going to be interesting.

It kills me that Gabriel never got to find out that his son was chat noir, and vice versa. I wanted that scene so bad 😭😭 and how is adrien able to be controlled by his dad if Felix is the sentimonster??

I, personally, would change the term of "sentimonster" to "sentibeing". Cause that's what it is, a living being, not a monster.

I know like a lot of people are mad that adrien didn't find out the truth abt gabriel, but I think this could be a interesting plotpoint in season 6 for adrien as it could spotlight his character more and it might jeapordise marinette/ladybug and adrien/chat noirs relation ship.

I think the order of effects was, Gabe took on the damage Nathalie had taken to heal her, then, because he technically wasn't dead yet, gave up his life to revive Emilie. Essentially bullshitting the system by getting a two for one.

The potential it could've had if the writer didn't sucked... The megakwami and the fight scenes at the finale we're top tier. I wanted to like the finale but there are things that I don't know how to feel about, - Firstly, the fact that they basically made adrien a side character in the finale.. adrien deserved to have much more screen time, he deserved to learn the truth as he was Ladybug's equal. - Secondly, Chloe could've had a great character development, but it only went downhill. - lastly, I don't know how to feel about gabriel dying as a "hero".

I feel more like Gabriel was STILL VERY SELFISH at his end. Also, why would they only show Emilie without Amelie if Felix is also hanging out? If you look at the screenshot you shared at 5:18 - right above CH031_emilie_agreste it says "reused character"... because Amelie is a reused character model of Emilie. Just like how Felix is a reused character model of Adrien. Someone else pointed out that Emilie's colour palette is white (just like Gabriel), while Amelie's is black - the swimsuit is black.

Marinette acting how she did shows how much of a true heart she really has and that’s how all of us should be towards each other

My theory is that the miraculous ladybugs healed Nathalie as Ladybug states that she's a "victim of your madness" to Monarch and that after the fight many civilians said that they saw how the miraculous ladybugs fixed everything meaning post fight Ladybug retransformed and called up her power as opposed to Gabriel sacrificing himself for Nathalie as the whole point of the fight was to defeat and clean up after the destruction Monarch has caused

Marinette would never do anything to hurt someone, that’s so sweet! Even though Gabriel has been a villain part of me sometimes makes me feel bad about Gabriel. 😢 I’m looking forward to what is planned for season 6 & beyond.

Timetagger tells us there is a second holder of the butterfly miraculous. Astruck originally planned for there to only be 5seasons, so this is probably very close to the original idea of the series finale. I think the light that took lila was added in for an extra cliffhanger, but otherwise lila was still going to obtain the moth miraculous and give some closing monologue that left the door open for more specials and episodes. Since they Knew they were coming back they had to make it more interesting.

I loved these episodes omg! these eps were a rollercoaster of emotions all the things we were waiting for happened i was so shocked im still sad i won't have anything to watch for a while till season 6 :)

I wish that Gabriel would have pulled something off and came back because... ok, part of me is happy that Garbriel won, but another part of me feels like that was too easy of an ending for him, so I would like it if he came back, but that will never happen. I also believe that it would have been really, really cool if Gabriel lost everything, and then he becomes this Lex Luthor type of villain in Miraculous, where he is on some, "If I couldn't defeat Ladybug as Hawkmoth or Monarch, then I will defeat Ladybug as Gabriel Agrest." Type of stuff. And he uses his wealth, connections, and influence to his advantage, like maybe he becomes mayor or governor or president, just really high levels of authority and power, and he does things like he buys over Marinette's parents' bakery, kicks them out, and sets it on fire to where they loose everything and they never recover, and not just that, he wages a one-man-war against all of the miraculous holders in the world, taking away their funding and stuff, taking away their jobs, their homes, their resources to do the things that they do, like Gabriel jeopardizes their chances to go to college, or schools and stuff, he takes away resources like the imported materials and things for their businesses and livelihoods, and he does more damage to all of the miraculous holders as Gabriel Agrest than he has ever done as Monarch proving that even without a miraculous Gabriel is still very powerful in his own right. That is what I believe. But that will never happen.

the line reveal yourselves means reveal their god forms or their true forms, the next line after that is Gimmi reveal yourself. basically he's asked for the appearance of kwami universal god to grant him his desire by reading his heart directly which is something most wish makers would not do

I feel Like this wouldnt have happened if Gabriel just use the miraculous that gives any superpower (not the ones that other than holders have) to his advantage and usad the power OF bringing people back From the dead. He could also use it to heal people like: Natalie & himself.

Here’s an epic story. I had a dream about this once: Right after Gabriel made his wish, after the light completely swallowed everything, Gimmi made the light explode into a supernova then becoming a supermassive black hole, representing the anger in him after all the complaints and wishes. Everything in the universe began to fall in, including the Eiffel Tower, Agreste Mansion, everything. Adrien and Marinette float back to each other seconds after the black hole begins. Tikki and Plagg arrive towards the two and explain that all of the kwami’s (including Tikki and Plagg) would have to throw themselves into the black hole in order to neutralize it. They wave goodbye to Marinette and Adrien, and, with a cry like a Luma, began throwing themselves into the black hole to stop the destruction, they attack the black hole’s singularity which then soon disintegrates into a supermassive explosion, giving them another chance in life. (Kinda like how Super Mario Galaxy went, the kwamis are resurrected) After the explosion, Adrien and Marinette are in a blue sparkly void and a fairy version of Emilie appears, telling them what had happened and explains the cycle of life and the miraculouses. Once they wake up, Marinette kissed Adrien awake, and there’s a pool party in the mansion backyard, and everything is back to normal and they finally kiss again!

I just loved: "THE SCHOOL: KABOOM! THE WORLD: KABOOM! THE UNIVERSE: KABOOM!" and then talks about Adrien's beautiful green eyes. ;-;

I loved season 5 I had so many emotions watching it my best description was going on a roller coaster 📈📉📈📉📈📉📈 also I am kinda happy Gabriel died but at the same time I feel bad. I have been in the miraculous community since 2015 so it was kinda crazy I made it. But in general this season was amazing it went by so fast.

How sad for for Agreste jr😢😢😢. He didn't even give his father the ANGRIEST goodbye of his life, he could have had at least scolded, if not Cataclysm his father. The man traumatized the Parisians for God's sake. On the bright side he has his mom back, all the best for the wonderful memories to make with her son in 15 YEARS!!!!!! Anyways I can't wait to see what Lila has in plan for us. See y'all on season 6!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh well the butterfly miraculous got into the hands of Lila, so basically there might be trouble again. I wished that Lila wasn’t there like breaking into the Agreste’s mansion and retrieving the butterfly miraculous after it had fallen into the water, that probably explains why at the end of the episode when Lila finished a call with the school principal the butterfly miraculous started doing weird purple lightning stuff…

I just finished the episode! It was…okay-ish, I liked the action, emotion, and that kiss at the end! That was one of the most satisfying moments I’ve seen in my opinion. The downside with it…ADRIEN SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE TO FACE HIS OWN FATHER!!! GAAAAHH! Thomas Astruc has gone too far this time! It’s called “Ladybug AND Cat Noir!” That being said, it was still okay-ish. 60/100.

So when it was used all the times it was, by Emilie and Nathalie, it wouldn't have harmed them. Of course, you know what this also means? Felix's father, may not be dead either. 😱 Which might make for an interesting plot twist. What if Lila isn't the Hawkmoth of the future? What if it's Felix's dad.

That his wish was probably not "exchange my life for my wife" Since natalie was also saved, which wouldn't have made sense given Gimmi's explanation with the strawberries. Instead the wish was possibly "I wish the peacock miraculous was never damaged" with the exchange being "Make the Butterfly damaged instead" Though considering lila becomes Chrysalis *Her supposed name*, and supposedly WINS in just one season and undoes gabriel's wish.
