Let me just throw it out there: being a startup CEO is the most demanding and mentally exhausting job I've ever had. The decisions you make, affect not only the future of your company but the future of the people who trust you to make the right decisions. It's extremely demanding. It never stops... and it's also the most thrilling experience of my professional life.
Here’s some of my background in case you don’t know me: our company Slidebean is a web presentation platform, way more efficient than PowerPoint. We have over 600,000 sign-ups from all over the world, over $1MM in annual revenue and growing fast. We are a US company with a team of 20+ people based in New York City and in San Jose, Costa Rica, where I'm originally from.
I'm the CEO, and one of three company founders- and everything in these videos comes from my own experience, managing this, we'll call it a successful company, and a previous one, who went out of business.
As a CEO you'll need creativity, people skills, number skills, patience, resolve... but before all that, I think the most critical skill set a founder needs is the ability to learn and adapt fast.

Let me just ask, where did you find the gut to start a business with zero working experience and all the risk involve. What make you think you can make it. So far from your finance model you share, your company is still in the loss. Why would investor still pour money in it? Finally you drop out of computer science so how do build the software? By hiring people smarter? Without work experience, how did you know he is reliable? Please let me know. You guys never fail to impress me.

I have to respectfully disagree with your point around 5:45. I wanted to earn more than a lousy salary, use my creativity and do something more than work my life away to make my boss wealthier. So I decided to start a company. For nearly a decade I thought and tried and discarded countless ideas before I developed a proper business mind and now I have a small business of my own. If one really wants to start a business and succeed and will put in the effort, something will eventually show up that is executable.
