A Course in Miracles calls us to go places we seemingly can’t go. How, then, do we get there? One answer is that we lean on Jesus’ help. The Course teaches that Jesus is genuinely present, and that we can lean on his strength, his guidance, his healing, and his companionship.
This naturally brings up many questions: Does he really exist? Is he available to us personally? How do we call upon his help? What things do we turn to him for? What things should we not turn to him for?

Thank you! I love hearing that Jesus is someone and not just a symbol. As I understand it, there aren't really unimportant litlle things. When Jesus helps us in small but specific problems our faith increases greatly. Concrete examples help a lot.

What is your belief in the Holy Eucharist? The body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus. (People accept in scripture that God came in different forms... The Holy Spirit as the sound of rushing wind, God the Father as a burning bush, Jesus presents Himself to us as often as we desire in the form of bread and wine. The species is transubstantiated. It is the miracle that Jesus is truly there. You may not be able to accept such a miracle in front of you in our modern times but that is why Jesus left it behind for us to Do Always in Remembrance of ME. He really is there.)

The Father felt so strongly about all of this that He sent the pagans to destroy the Temple and erase the priestly line because they continued to sacrifice animals to Him for the remittance of sins and ignore His most perfect son and the prefect sacrifice and His anger was great that He had the Jewish people dragged off into another captivity in Rome. His people are returning to the promised land now after a 2000 year punishment but satan knows his time is short and is making a great attempt to prevent their return.

What an amazing conversation! I took notes, will definitely change and enrich my relationship with Him. I have begun a relationship with Jesus doing the course lessons themselves, now I am excited to deepen my relationship with Him. So grateful for this talk, truly a game changer. Yes I really want to hear more about this. My heart is truly touched listening to both of you.

Love you guys and how hard you both work to help others. The Jesus thing is where I struggle and the Course loses me. Jesus died about 2000 years ago so I can't believe that he dictated the course. I've never seen a person who was dead for almost 2000 years dictate anything. Isn't it possible that “Jesus” was Helen’s intuition or higher power who dictated the book to her even if f she believed it was Jesus. In same way other people have been inspired to create artistic achievements such as Beethoven or Wagner or DaVinci or Spielberg or Pink Floyd or Springsteen or whomever. Isn't possible that those artists used their inner voices to create masterful art in the same way Helen did?

Does ACIM teach that everyone the world over has to “come to Jesus”? Or does it allow for multiple pathways to the ultimate ground of being? To use a metaphor: if the ultimate truth, maybe what ACIM calls Reality is the destination at the center of a wheel, does ACIM see Jesus as one of vehicles that can get you there? Or as the ONLY vehicle that can get you there? (Side note: In this metaphor other vehicles might be Buddha, Lao Tsu, Krishna…..) 🙏 🙏🧡

The Course teaches there are many ways to get to universal truth. It says that it is one of those paths but for its students, the Course is all they need. The Course says you don’t have to have a relationship with Jesus to benefit from its wisdom but he can help you on your journey “yet a little more” if you do. It does *not* teach that Jesus is the only way to God. Hope that helps. ❤️

I thought ACIM basicly tough Non Duality this seems very Christian and dualistic

It's both. We all share one identity in Christ (nonduality), but there is a distinction between the Creator and the created (duality). We are one with God, but He is First Cause. It's a distraction to get caught up in labels, however. The real test is the practice and application of the ideas. Practice the workbook lessons, apply them to your life, and experience the rusults. If by doing so you find more peace and and happiness then what does it matter if the teaching is labeled this or that? It's up to each of us to realize (make real) the teaching for ourselves. @@TrojansFirst I'm very happy to hear this. You will face resistance to learning this Course because it is the end of the ego's rule in your mind. It will therefore throw up all sorts of defenses. This is to be expected because we're embarking on a journey to change our most fundamental thought system - that of the ego - to the thought system of the Holy Spirit. This is acknowledged in the introdution to the workbook: "Some of the ideas the workbook presents you will find hard to believe, and others may seem to be quite startling. ²This does not matter. ³You are merely asked to apply the ideas as you are directed to do. ⁴You are not asked to judge them at all. ⁵You are asked only to use them. ⁶It is their use that will give them meaning to you, and will show you that they are true." ~W-in.8:1-6 May your life go well.
