What Does Michael Jackson's Home Look Like Now? || Neverland Ranch

3 жыл бұрынThe Tru Drone team visited Neverland Ranch, the late Michael Jackson's home of 15 years. This property has been unoccupied since 2006, when Michael Jackson left it following the court cases. In the 14 years since, a lot of things have changed at Neverland Ranch.
A realty company bought the property and restored some facilities. The property was put on the market in 2015 for $100 million. They were looking for buyers who were not interested in converting the place into a sort of museum or monument to Michael Jackson. The price was reduced in 2018 to $67 million. It was reduced again in 2019 to $31 million. After failing to be sold again, the property was finally taken off the market.
Clips of Michael Jackson's home from the 90s and early 2000s is not owned by us. It was used here under Fair Use. It was used to compare the past and present appearance of Neverland Ranch and to educate the public about this historic site.
The drone footage was all captured by us, but you are free to use it in your own projects. Just be sure to give credit and provide the link to this video, like so:

In the Oprah interview in the 1990s, they have shown where Michael put special rooms up towards the top of the movie theater with large windows where children could see out to the theater screen. He had done this so kids that were bed bound with sickness, could go and watch movies at the Neverland theater just like the other kids. This man was a living angel, may you rest in peace Michael ♡

A friend of the family bought it in 2020 for as low as 22mil. It had been on the market since around 2010, but because of the courtcase, his death, the price etc etc it was just left untouched. Too much drama in the media around the estate. At first it was on the market for 100mil, but it just dropped in price several times over the years. Im glad at very least it was a friend of the family who picked it up. What a steal tho.

When he died I was only 9 years old, because my parents liked the song I also liked the song, but when I was 20 years old, I realized Michael Jackson was a good person, he cared about environmental, social and cultural conditions, the song has a moral message. not echoed by many singers today, whatever the controversy at that time, I believe Michael is a good person, seeing neverland makes me remember we should be able to remember Michael, I hope good people will restore neverland to how it used to be

I was only 9 when he died and I remember bawling and being absolutely heartbroken when he passed. It was the first real grief I’d ever felt. My parents used to listen to him all of the time so I grew up listening to him and still blast his music daily. I believe wholeheartedly he was an amazing person who was very misunderstood. I wish he were still here with us today. This world is so cruel and unfair to the BEST people who never deserve it in the first place. I’m glad he’s at peace now. Thank you Michael for all you did. Truly the best to ever do it as you still influence people to this day in 2023 almost 2024. May you rest in peace. ❤

There is always deep sadness when I reflect on Michael and his children. They deserved to live their lives fully in peace. How much he loved his kids is evident in his home movies. The masks actually protected their identity so he could send them to school! He was giving them as much of a normal life as possible. I get very sad indeed when I see these videos. It was his dream come true to have never land. He worked his ass off as a baby and he did miss out on it all. Why couldn’t human beings see past $$$$$$ and realize he too was human and had a broken heart.

I agree with a lot of what you say. Michael Jackson's children were homeschooled at "Neverland". They continued to be homeschooled until Michael Jackson died/was murdered in 2009. Debbie Rowe came up with the idea of the masks to protect the children's identity. It meant that the children could have as normal lives as was possible. God bless you.

That's the truth. 60 law enforcement officers and forensic experts tore this place apart and found nothing. The court of public opinion crucified this guy, but the actual court of law acquitted him

This just breaks my heart, so many beautiful memories were made here and now its just abandoned. I know a couple of his rides you can actually still ride on in the California State Fair when its open. I’ve been on a couple of his rides and they were fun and I know so many amazing memories were made on those rides in Neverland I’m happy they are still being used, but its just sad how the Neverland Ranch is just sitting their. Im very surprised his family didn’t buy it.

I remember Michael saying I will never go back to Neverland it's not a home to me anymore after the trial I would have neither they destroyed the Happy and loving place that he made it for. After this horrible trial, Neverland was desecrated for MJ.It was also a child and animals paradiese.Racist Tom Sneddon drove him out. The drama continued in the from AEG rented villa. this hurts my heart, he gave his all to help the people in need not even to think about himself , performed till his last breath, made all this for underprivileged kids and he was hurting and was taken from us way too soon, before he could actually enjoy his life for all his hard work and watch his kids grow up. My heart sank seeing this video. He must've put all his thoughts, love, passion and DREAMS into creating this place. I have a feeling that the Downfall happened only after this property was owned by him... Maybe that's why he was finally done with it in early 2000s.

They were already preparing another case against him. His lawyer advised him to leave Neverland forever & never come back coz the DA had a vendetta against him & would never leave him alone.

I don't know why they can't do to Neverland like what was done with Graceland. Let it be restored and become a museum/attraction for his fans to visit and enjoy. I could see Michael Jackson approving that use of it as opposed to letting it sit and rot or be demolished for something irreverent.

Graceland isn't just a museum it's actually the burial place for Elvis , both of his parents , his grandmother , and his grandson. The same thing can't be done with Neverland ranch because Michael Jackson was an incredibly famous person and the ranch is now sold to a billionaire after 5 years of problems with trying to sell the property , Neverland Ranch is no longer in the hands of the Jackson family.

This was so sad to watch, that I started tearing up straight away, Michael wouldn't have wanted Neverland Ranch to stop that was his dream. I really hope the new buyer doesn't destroy it or completely change the property.

So sad! I'm not sure what happened or went wrong in Michael Jackson's life but to me his music will live on forever. I was and am a fan of his music. While I can't and won't judge his personal life I have to say that he was definitely one of the best musicians ever. RIP Michael, I love you!

MJ filled the land with soul and spirit , memories and joy .... Without his vision it’s desolate and it shows . It would have been a wonderful tribute to have kept it up and as it was in memory of what it meant to him in life and for others to continue to honor him through continued enjoyment of what it could have offered in years to come .

I cannot stop crying seeing the current state of Neverland. I hope Michael is still there, his energy & soul. I hope the new owner will do something to rejuvenate the property. It would be great to see the ranch put back in the previous state with all the rides & animals for children to enjoy. Michael will be the happiest.

They should just restored the place and make it as a museum to honored Michale Jackson so people can see and have the feelings and experience the life of the King of Pop when he’s alive. At least someone get profit and what ever the hard work amd memories he put in to this place will remain forever. It’s just sad how many people judge him so easily they never realized how much he changed the world with his musics. Wish he still here with us.

As a young boy he got abused by his father.. he had big dreams, and was a hard worker when he was older. Trying his best to help this planet wherever he could, to make it a better place to all of us. You can hear it in his songs, you can see how many childrens faces lit up when michael was there, he created a whole theme park and a zoo to try and persue his dream. I think his dream was to have smiling faces all around him. And that no child had to suffer a childhood as he did. He wanted to give the children a childhood they deserved. Just like how he wanted to be a good father to his children. Just like how he wanted a good childhood for his children. He was loving, kind, and never hurt a soul. It is sad people assume he was a child molester. Absolutely heartbreaking. Let the man rest. He died an awful death. He never got what he actually wanted which was happiness and peace. Not only for everyone around him but for himself. He sadly got addicted, just because this poor soul wanted to end his suffering, and that was the end of it. He tried. He definitely tried getting the life he wanted. With neverland, and smiling faces around him. MJ, i'll always be one of your most loyal moonwalkers. No matter what anyone says, you will always have a special place in my heart. From when i discovered your music in 2009, the year you passed, i was 7 years old, til now. 2023. I'm 21 years old. I still love you just as much and that won't stop.

I alone crying and sobbing even if i didn't work for that...imagine mj crying up there while looking down and then sees how neverland was going down and a beautiful fairy before become a lifeless and unhealthy place now...he work hard for that and he really dreams about that and take care of it until his last days and now...if the owners lifeless the thing he own will be lifeless to and it hurts..it really breaks my heart how the things changed since he died...if atleaset the took care of the landscape and the tree..😭😭😭😭😭😭

Neverland was MJ safe place where he could do what he wanted. sad to see Never Land in this state, They should open it as a museum like they done for Elvis and let people visit. Sad to see this MJ would never return after the trails his safe place had been tainted.
