What Donald Trump said and did it change how people would vote? 2024 Iowa caucus

Donald Trump holds a commanding lead in the polls even as he has eschewed the typical retail politics to earn the trust of Iowa voters. Iowa Democrats will meet for a caucus on Monday, but in a first, voters can mail in their ballots and the party won’t announce their results until Super Tuesday in March. The change is because the Democratic National Committee has stripped Iowa of its first-in-the-nation status, giving South Carolina the US’s first primary. Whether or not the caucuses will return to their first position in 2028 for Democrats remains unclear.
Guardian US reporter Sam Levine moderated the panel, which included Sabine Martin, the Daily Iowan executive editor; Barbara Trish, a professor of political science at Grinnell; Rekha Basu, a former columnist at the Des Moines Register; and Sara Mitchell, a political science professor at the University of Iowa.

As in independent there is absolutely no way I will vote for Biden. I'm still waiting to see who else comes along. I really like RFK Jr, but that is a long shot. Trump was really appealing with his unity speech. I think our nation truly needs to come together, especially as the world is falling down around us. That really changed my perspective of Trump, but how true is it? Biden caught my attention with the same speech in 2020, but did the exact opposite. It is very damaging when over 70 million fellow citizens are called terrorists or threats simply because of their political affiliations. That is the opposite of democracy. All voices need heard all people need freedom of expression. It seems the democrats do the opposite of that, but both Republican and Democrats work for the same oligarchy, not the citizens. It will be between Biden and Trump. I cannot and will not vote for Biden. I refuse. 4 more years would destroy the US under his administration with disastrous and dangerous policies, especially with the border. Who knows what kinds of terrorists are coming in and now lost anywhere in the US. It is appalling. I lose sleep over it at night. Who knows what attacks are coming and when. I will vote for Trump over Biden certainly, I just hope Trump stands true to uniting the country on all sides.
