if you're going 305-315 just get cheap $10, 5 to 8mm universal spacers and call it a day, and yes you can fit 305s and 315s on a 9.5 inch rim, i have 305s on my 9.5 inch rim and it rides smooth and no bulging. I've seen others in Mopar forums saying that 315s fit too, but may have some bulging depending on the tire brand.

Your ride is dope and I'm a fan of the aggressive stance on challengers. I just put Black Concave Ferrada FR3's 20x10 +13 (275/40) and 20x10.5 +20 (315/35) in the rear on my Black 2019 Challenger RT and I love it. I too had to snip and inch by a quarter inch of plastic in the rear as Dodge got a little cheap on plastic rivets used to hold the rest of the plastic and allowed the bottom corner to fold it's way toward the tire assuming no one would ever notice. Based on my research, if this all you have to do, then you got off lucky. I can also relate to not being able to describe the new feel of the wider tires. Feels like it's smoother now and my Atturo AZ850 are hooking way better than the stock 245/45 name brand Goodyear's. It's also cool that you mentioned not all challengers are the same as I'm convinced the 2014 - 2016 have more wheel area room than my 2019 for sure. Also anyone looking to upgrade should pay attention to the offset and the wheel manufactures knowledge of Challengers. Ferrada has done a lot of R&D into Dodge and it shows in their fitment. One last important thing people should keep in mind is MDM's +25 rear offset applies to his wheel and may not work with your wheel. My FR3's require a +20 offset to achieve very similar fitments based on what we both had to trim, Keep up the good work bro and you gotta new sub.
