THE CAVS NEED A SMALL FORWARD PERIOD!!

The best of these is Malik Beasley. Bey is injured, Hayward has a history of injuries, and Caleb Martin is too short. People are complaining about Jaylon Tyson being too small and Martin is the same size as him. Plus they should keep the core 4 together and see how it works. Garland had a weird injury and lost 15 pounds of muscle so he can get back to a borderline all star if he stays healthy. If it doesn't look good then they can always make a trade before the deadline. Plus both Allen and Mobley are capable of hitting the 3. JB didn't run any plays to get them any outside shots.

Honestly man. I’ve accepted the fact making playoffs seems to be the ceiling AGAIN. Next season is going to be chip contender roster building time. DG and JA are our best bet to trade and get a haul to provide this team with much needed depth, chip contenders can go deep into their rotations we do not have that luxury. DG’s stock is down and with that contract we are pretty much stuck with em. And JA isn’t going anywhere because I know for a fact part of the reason DM signed that extension was making sure JA stays. I like Bey and Trent as additions but we need a big. I really wanted us to land Ke’lel Ware or Filipowski but we didn’t. We need to start really improving the athleticism, shooting, and defense that comes off the bench it’s getting old!

Last year it was just apparent that JB was going to run our best players into the injured reserves list that I think moving Garner up to replace JB would have been best seeing how well the charge was coached. "Picking up the pace" as they were supposed to be experimenting on being a plausible theme looked more like a failed attempt at bully ball that didn't fit our personalities. Offensive rebounding was legally abandoned as a discipline. I don't thing Evan was given a chance to earn an extension. I mean it was an automatic head turn to getting back on defense omg translating into a slower pace.

I told you. Cavs team is in need of multiple upgrades in the starting lineup and the bench. They also have very little room to make improvements because of the lack of draft picks and young talent. Trading Mitchell could get them a well rounded team and some draft capital for the future. I like Mitchell but I thought team wasn’t strong enough to bring in one player and then seriously compete for a championship

The cavs were the best team in the NBA when they were winning seventeen out of eighteen games. They did this with one point guard. Not the two small guards. Nobody wanted to play them. One reason that Bickerstaff got sent packing is because he couldn't arrange the chairs on the deck correctly. We don't need to make drastic changes because the present team has proven it can play with anybody.

Okoro's qualifying tender is holding up any moves right now. Hopefully a S&T can occur. If a S&T cant occur, we r limited on how bringing FAs with just a vet minimum. We could have a reunion with either Cedi and or Lamar depending on what happens with Okoro. Also, because the core 4 didn't work with JB, it doesn't mean the core 4 can't work with Kenny. Kenny said he could make it work. Can we allow Kenny to cook first? Plus, Kenny has called LeVert and JA his sons. Kenny don't want to trade any of them. DG has already refuted the klutch sports quote about him wanting to leave. Can we be patient with the trade machine for now? If it doesn't work by the trade deadline, we can make a move then.

Is a cam johnson trade possible for us

I would call Orlando Magic to try to trade Mobley and niang for Banchero it's worth a shot, he's better than Mobley

Im an nfl junkie and know the cap well, but the nba cap is spanish to me. If a team is in the tax in year A, do they pay the repeat fee no matter what if they are in it in year B? Or would shuffling around contracts change that?

It seems to me that what the CAVS need is a stretch 4 or possibly 5. I don't think we can rely on Dean Wade or Georges Niang.

Bring in Markelle Fultz to see if he can give a run at the PG or backup PG with Garland for the vet minimum. Beasley may be ok but Gary Trent would be better on the MLE or 9MM for 1 year. I think that there are others on the board that would be good for the Cavs at a lower price. The Cavs need a tough enforcer and scorer now that Morris is gone. Caleb Martin could be an enforcer but he has a lot of off court issues.

I disagree with the Ingram take. He is a little overrated. You all are going to be pleasantly surprised how Garland looks in Atkinson’s offense.

I think we can make a move to get Wiggins from Golden State. I think he needs a change of scenery and I’m sure GSW want to get off his contract, George Niang and Levert. You only concerned with shooting but what I saw was our defense getting exposed by bigger wing players.

Cavs are incapable of making any significant moves, without moving off one or two of the precious core players. It's better than losing him by a mile, but Mitchell is no 1 on 5 superstar. No player less than a superstar first team all nba, that should ever be on track to be handed half a Billion down the road. Think about that. Anyone who really thinks the Mitchell signing, was about anything more than his payday, is lying to themselves. Altman is so bad at his job, they have no assets other than the core players to add the one position they need to beat Boston. So, even if they have the ability to keep the core togather for 3 years I expect nothing but a team that just can't quite get there. I guess you can tell your kids playing sports isn't about winning, it's about cap management
