Rivian just announced their new car models. We found out they didn’t only have 1 thing to reveal, but rather 3! We also touch on why it’s not worth it to put a deposit down for cars, and we finalize this with a scandal.

Hommies a battery for a model 3 from tesla is like 20k. In fact that's about what they coast from everyone. There always at least almost half the price of the car. Stop kidding your selves lol. Evs don't have alot of maintenance yes, but the stuff that do go bad is really fucking expensive to replace, compared to there gas counter parts hence why it's a reason out of many why people don't want evs in the first place.

ah...battery recycling technology is one thing but the companies in charge of recycling them take the tipping fees and bury them out in the back 40 so to speak and further to this is something else.. A significant amount of the batteries (excluding tesla as I dont know about them) that are made don't meet the specs and so need to be thrown away too... The biggest issue with EVs is the electromagnetic radiation ...kind of like driving a microwave oven around ...enjoy the podcast by the way..

You probably have a fair point about combustion cars out of warranty having a higher chance of breaking expensive components. But I don’t think that your argument of comparing a Rolls Royce or a Bentley with a Tesla makes sense. It is a totally different class of car. Probably an E class or 5 series would be a better comparison.

Aston martin is trying to be the UKs ferrari. Combining luxury of a bentley with performance of a ferreri. The new vantage smokes a roma atleast on paper and is more luxurious. The 707 dbx rides like a range rover with speed of a parasongue. They are doing Ana amazing job at hitting both luxury and speed imo. And the next gen vanquish/dbs replacement is gonna be crazy

Aston Martin just needs to stop charging as much as they do. It’s that simple. Rolls Royce owns the luxury market and Bentley serves as the “well it’s not as luxurious as a Rolls Royce but it’s not where near as expensive” Aston Martin is in the “not as luxurious as a Rolls Royce but close in price” They should be selling the Valhalla for 350-400k instead of the current high end specs on just a grand tourer

Hey, guess what? Batteries are still expensive AF. People are against electric because it is not feasible to replace every single car with an electric car. There aren’t enough resources. There isn’t enough infrastructure. Most people don’t have a way to charge an electric car at home. Think of the millions that live in apartment buildings. You guys are so out of touch.
