🙋🏼 ABOUT ME: Hi guys! My name is Alyona. I was born in Russia. I'm a musician. And I love art, makeup, fashion, style and beautiful environments. I love playing with makeup and fashion, but at the same time, I’m quite a minimalistic person. I don't like the idea of being fixated on the body too much. Aly Art thank you for considering it! it's a type of makeup that features softly glowing skin (sometimes "glass skin", though it's usually achieved by skin care), sometimes gradient lips, and big shimmery eyes (some of the techniques are similar to what you showed in the tutorial for that). I guess this type of makeup is suitable for romantic types. You can find it just by searching "korean makeup tutorials". Personally, I like tutorials by pony and daddoa (they have eng subs).

To every vegan and raw vegan who got offended by me - no no no! I just wasn't clear enough! Wanting to be a vegan or raw wasn't my mistake!!! It's just I knew nothing about how that works, and just stopped eating everything I had been eating before and started totally new food in just one day. So my body didn't understand what happened and couldn't digest it all new food right away - it was used to a different diet for years. So when I started doing that slowly - I felt better - now i'm almost vegan - got much closer to it - and I feel so much lighter and healthier!

Look up @Rawfoodromance . She really showa you the AMOUNT of greens, veggies and fruit you need to down everyday to thrive on a raw food diet. And she lives in Canada.

In my opinion I think you look good with both colours, both long or short, but not straight, waves or curls suits you more. Also I think you look better with less makeup but more bright or incisive, like less makeup products, less caking, but bright or dark lipsticks, like red, pink, dark purple, not natural/neutral shades like you have now.

Less make-up but bright lips? All a matter of taste, but I like pronounced *eyes* and muted lips. Lips should never be the center piece of the face and they can really wash out the rest of the face if they are loud. By human nature, eye contact is central to communication and body language; lips are distraction. It would seem that make-up should follow accordingly.

@Martina Smith If you can afford it, you can look into getting babylights all over. That way, you wouldn't need to change your base color and use your natural shade as a shadow root/base.

I will never understand this thing that people has about blonde hair. That special status. Like no matter what is better. I'm from a country where most of the people has brown hair and many of them dye their hair blonde, it doesn't matter what shade of blonde as far it's blonde. It gets to the point where little children are dyed blonde to fullfill this blonde is better fantasy. The right shade of blonde for the right person can be stunning, but so can be any other shade that it's the right one that person. There's nothing about blonde hair that makes it more special, more flattering or more whatever. Marilyn Monroe wasn't beautiful because of her blonde hair, she was beautiful and that's it.

Also the status of long hair on women.. The prevailing opinion that blonde and long(er) hair is better no matter what.. I always found that perspective a bit immature. We should go past that after we finish kindergarten 😉

Agree! Even thought I’m naturally blonde and my hair is very long lol. I prefer darker hair on people, but it doesn’t suit me personally... blonde is harder to look after, and not everyone suits it. I don’t know why anyone would want to be blonde 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, I don't get it either. So many people get dyed blonde hair in tones that are absolutely wrong for them too and exaggerates the pink and red tones in their skin. It rarely looks great on anyone who isn't already a light blonde, and you have to get the tones right. But people go mad over it, even when it looks like trash, in my experience. Men seem to have a thing for bleached blonde though, this association with sex, it seems to imply sexual availability to them in ways other colours don't. I had a friend back in college who was maybe a level 8 naturally. Ashy tones. She dyed her hair that almost white 'bleach' blonde and suddenly total strangers woukd appraoch her in the street. She hadn't altered the way she dressed or anything, but the upswing in street harrassment was insane. She dyed it back to her normal darker tone because the attention was so offputting. Ever seen the pics of Marilyn with her natural red/auburn tones, befoe the studio made her over? She looked amazing with any colour. She had a natural appeal that wasn't a product of anything but her own sexuality and personality.

I think the balyage and curtain bangs was my favourite era for your hair! Would you ever consider getting curtain bangs again? They suited you so well! I love the new colour on you though, I agree with you and think an extra inch or so under the chin will be a very flattering length for you :)

Torrie Same here...had dark hair (dyed) for years...then cut it off, to go lighter. Went through everything from platinum blonde to dark ash blonde during the last 6 months...just to end up with a light-medium brown, that’s pretty close to my natural hair color. Blonde just did not suit me...not enough contrast.

Same. Somehow, I felt like I've lost identity. As said in video, makeup was a must. Eventually I dyed it even darker than my natural hair, and maybe that's just me, but my eyes look brighter, skin clearer because of the contrast, and I don't have to go extra with makeup to look nice. And my curls are returning so, yeah hahaah but people still prefer me blonde for some reason.

Thank you so much!! I would say I try to look good with that makeup and light on camera, because on real life that all look different. On camera blonde looks brighter, but in real life dark hair is easier and healthier looking a bit.

I was vegan for more than one year and one day, my hair started to break and to be very dry at the ends. It didn't get better with cutting them. I realized that I had done something wrong with my diet and I started to be vegetarian again and now that I do clean eating with fish and sometimes eggs and meat, my hair ist beautiful again. But it took me over a year to get to that point! And this is something, most of the vegans and vegetarians don't want to believe. To me, my diet as it is now, is the best choice for my health. And I don't want to offend someone who is vegan or vegetarian and in extreme good health.

I was bleaching my hair platinum blonde for about a year and after a while it started to fall out in clumps. I went back to brunette and people have been telling me how much they liked me better as a blonde. I know it’s silly, but that knocks my self esteem a bit. But I would rather my hair be long, brown, and healthy than short, blonde, and damaged. You’re hair looks beautiful darker, do whatever is healthiest for your hair!

Bridgette that is the same as me, I had platinum blonde hair for years and then my hair started falling out. I went brunette, my hair is so much more healthier and thicker now , but like you, everybody keeps saying I looked much better blonde. I find it quite upsetting as i am already quite insecure as it is! X

мой любимый цвет на вас - каре с темными корнями и блонд концами. Это очень стильно!!! Но и с темненьким вы очень красивая, но я думаю приходится ярко краситься чтобы выглядело хорошо. I stopped dying my hair bleach blonde bc the ends died and always felt dry no matter how well i treated it.. i like the healthiness that returned in the last year it’s so much softer 🌸

Yes! Normally we can "see" when a face is blonde, light or dark brunette, ginger or black... Even if we can see the roots or not yet. This colour fits with her but lighter blonde is so good on her!! She is definitely light blonde... Sorry for my E nglish! ❤️

this was super interesting to hear! You have looked great with all of your hairstyles and i really like your current one as well. I've also always struggled with my hair. I have naturally ashy blond/light brown/greyish hair that just looked bad on me in my opinion. My hair is now dark brown/black and I feel better about it than ever before. However many people have wondered (especially outside of Scandinavia where I live) that why I would dye my hair darker. I think it's a little weird that many people prefer always blond over darker hair even it would damage more/not look as fitting for a person.

Vera K -- My niece colored her hair darker even though she is very fair skinned and is a natural dark blonde. It is difficult to pull off dark hair and light roots, IMO.

I think everything you do to your hair is flattering but, I agree with the majority and say that this is my favourite! I think it looks in harmony with your face. Have you found you have had to change your makeup around your new hair colour? Would you consider doing a video on what makeup works better on you now more than before? Love from the UK x

Very interesting to see your progress and journey. And it's true about researching carefully before making any dietary changes. Importantly, we need to find the kind of body type constitution we are. Working from there, for most individuals a plant-based vegan diet is totally healthy and nutritious. :)

Getting the right hair can be so difficult. I think I’m a soft dramatic and I’m having real trouble finding something that balances me out - especially as I’m disabled and find hair maintenance quote difficult. My hair colour is quite similar to yours so I was wondering whether to go darker or lighter to give it a little more contrast. The toner idea might be good to try!

Invest in wigs. Especially as a performer. There are tons of great videos on them. It would be a ton of fun for you.

@@nutcracker2916 I've sung opera wearing wigs and now that I sing other styles, I wear them, even under lights. They are so totally versatile and fabulous. Even for every day wear. Nothing can transform you this way and offer you to change on a whim. Some wigs are not nearly as hot - the mono top ones without high density. Check out Jon Renau.

I've been bleaching my hair my entire life. Our stories are very much alike. I know I look better as a blonde, but bleaching my hair all the time, as a grown up with kids, didn't felt right. Too much effort. I'm back to my natural hair color. I don't want to look the prettiest to be honest, I just want to live my life without stressing out about my hair all the time. I'm so happy with the way I look now, it's been 3 years without bleach and I don't regret it

I am a natural light ash blond, but when I started graying in my late 30's and people started treating me like I was ancient, I asked my hairstylist to cover the gray and he used a semi-permanent color on it for years. I finally got tired of stressing out about my hair color and decided to stop coloring it and LOVE my hair color now. And bonus, it's so much easier...

Girl you just spoke my story to a t. I have always been bleaching since I was 16. I'm 27 now. 3 years ago I fell pregnant and quit dying it. Not so much out of fear for the baby but once she was born it just wasn't a priority. It looked balyage like and I didn't mind. Then I cut it all off last year to a bob length which removed all the dye. I'm now fully my natural hair for the first time in ten years. Sometimes I consider going back blonde but it took so long to get to this point it I can't go thru with it. The biggest hurdle is with no dye in my hair to rough up my texture it won't tease!

I have very thin hair, naturally. I'm Eastern European, after going vegan, my hair has been falling out MUCH less. My scalp is less itchy than before and less dry. I eat a normal vegan diet with no protein deficiency and my nails are very strong even when long. My periods used to be 11 days long and since i stopped eating dairy, it became 4 days! I also don't have allergies to pollen anymore! I used to have really bad allergies twice a year, exact same symptoms at the same time of the year and it suddenly stopped when I went vegan :)

Turning into a vegetarian ( not vegan though) changed my life too I'm much more energetic and enjoy sports more and feel actually less heavy even though my weight didn't change much

@@somebody7070 vegetarians often don't see much of a difference in weight loss or health because dairy and eggs are very unhealthy according to many clinical studies. Dairy and eggs are very high in fat and cholesterol with little benefit. So eliminating dairy and eggs and replacing them with the vegan options, you might see way more benefits.
