Today my first son was born and WotLK was the best era of my life (except this one :D ). Hot girlfriend. College. Not a care in the world, and time for doing Ulduar 25 at 8:00 PM. Feel old? Naaaaah, I still play the game, and I will have a kid to play with!!!!!!

Man... This reminds me of my favourite era in WoW. Yup, WotLK. Still to this day, the cinematic gives me chills, no pun intended. I can easily understand why that expansion recieved 12 million subscribers. "I tell you this, for when my days have come to and end; you, shall be king."

Loved DK Arthas in Warcraft 3, and loved him even more as the Lich King in Wrath. The DK intro scenario, all of it, is something i enjoy to this day due to serving him, being a part of this badass, horrifying, yet borderline unstoppable army, with this god-like figure of Darkness/Death as the leader, and the ''APOCALYPSE'' line in the end, wiping the floor with every paladin at the chapel. And even after all the events in Northrend, he just clicked his fingers, so to speak, and completely destroyed an army of Azeroth greatest champions, splattered like roaches under a boot :) ....doesn't get cooler than that, and if i was given a choice, my DK would serve him until the end of days and lay waste to Azeroth.

In Icecrown there is a quest at the crusaders pinnacle to start the construction of "Justice Keep." What ever happened to that?

Wait... Bolvar really wanted to ressurect Tirion? I thought that he was just trying to make Darion prove himself so that he could become the last horseman... I doubt Bolvar didn"t know that the Light would never allow them to take Tirion (especially as he was in THE LIGHtS HOPE CHAPEL) ... am I wrong or nah?...

The scourge will increase in power thanks to Sylvanas destroying the helmet of the Lich King. Northrend will play a huge part in the upcoming Shadowlands expansion. The portal to the dead realm looms over Ice Crown. You should make a new video about how the portal will change Northrend and how the balance of power will change too. I hope the Shadowland expansion will be good, since Battle for Azeroth is not very good. Blizzard was building the story of Sylvanas for a while now, hope it plays out good because we can't afford another bad expansion.

Man it would be so cool if we could resurrect Arthas back to his paladin days and with him, we defeat Bolvar. The realization of how tainted he once was might make him stay in the path of Light.

Northrend boasts some of the most beautiful content in WoW history. So sad to see the downfall of a company that is responsible of so much creativity go to shambles because of greed and monetization.

Was the timeline changed recently? From what I understand, only 8 years have passed in WoW time in its entirety and only 12 years have passed since the Battle of Mt. Hyjal.

Maybe Northrend along with Outland will get the "Cataclysm Update" like the old world once Blizzard released Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King Servers. It is already known that this is "possible" and really hope they do it. Then, all fans of the old Northrend(/Outland/Kalimdor/Eastern Kingdoms) could play the classic versions of the Continents and the retail version could get a timeline again. Defeating the remains of the scourge in Plaguelands and then going to Northrend to defeat Arthas always feels stupid to me.

I just remember coming home from high school piles of Mountain Dew, chip bags piling up, parents are away. Those were the days where I had not one care in the world... man I miss those days

What really happened was with the sudden influx of so many temporary contractors, rents went sky high, and everyone that could scrap up the money built rental property. Unfortunately few people ever envisioned the Lich King being defeated so quickly, and when the work was finished, the contractors went on to the next job. For a while there was a steady trickle of people leveling thru, but it wasn't nearly enough. With all that rental property sitting around vacant, banks had to foreclose on the mortgages, and had to take massive losses. This sent the economy into a depression. The King couldn't help because his main priority was concentrating on keeping the Scourge from running wild and eating everyone. They did try to raise some money by making it legal to smoke anchor weed, but that made the smokers unsuitable for many forms of work. Then weed became a crafting material and the auction house prices when sky high. Murders with military style assault spells have gone up 345%. The guards are supposed to maintain order, but they are on the take and spend most of their time booting black lotus or snorting sires's pollen.Goblin pimps sell "virgin" elf ladyboys to Orcs and Trolls for 50 gold, while the "girls" are lucky to get enough money from their acts to get high enough to forget what they did or will have to do tomorrow. Now homeless families are living out of their wagon or squatting in foreclosed properties. The guards can be asked about which streets have the least amount of feces in them. Orphans fight each other for rats to eat.

I would be interested to see if Northrend got a cata style revamp if/when Classic Wrath is announced. The only thing stopping blizz right now is that Northrend is legit content for many still. A classic wrath would solve this problem as the old content would be playable in a new form.

What happened to the Taunka?

I'd love to return to Northrend, so much more to explore. In terms of a capitol, then instead of Dalaran, which has been used as such for 2 expansions now, could be exchanged for a more thematic locale, like a part of Ulduar that weren't part of the dungeon. Plenty of things that could be elaborated upon as storylines (this is going to get long as i entered absolute nerd mode): aside from the obvious of the Scourge getting riled up again and the Old gods' forces being on the march, there's the possibility for: 1. The Nerub having gained a boost post the End Times with the maws opening in Dragonblight. 2. Tuskarr on the offensive because their gods went nutty. 3. An uprising of Wolvar and wild gods in Howling fjord, fighting the Vrykul for control of Utgarde Keep. 4. Invasion of in Sholazar basin, letting that zone finally, Finally, get it's own dungeon with a theme of rogue titan creations unaccustomed to Northrend (Mogu and Tol'vir) not to mention the factions already there, the Wolvar and Gorlocs. 5. the Furbolgs city of Grizzlemaw turning into a new dungeon for the zone, Furbolgs battling the corruption of their land and brethren. 6. Magnataur civilization focused on central Northrend. 7. Zuldrak naturally turning into a zone of death, meaning that there'd be Ice troll refugees all over the continent. 8. Possible incursions of settlers from far off lands, giving some of the races in Azeroth a new setting to inhabit: Pandaren in Sholazar, Explanation where the humans in grizzly hills came from, Kul Tiras, Stromgarde or Alterac? (there's also human settlers in Howling Fjord and they could expand into Grizzly Hills). Vulperan traders all over the tundra, along with roaming bands of Centaur (is pretty farfetched this one). Ogres settling in the black dragon shrine. Mantid and Aqir ambassadors reconnecting with their Nerub kin for the glory of the old gods. Ankoan or Jinyu taking over the Forgotten Shore. 9: Giants! there's lots of them in the eastern part, plenty of things to build on with them, especially Gymer and the storm giants. 10. the alliance trying to restart the titans forges, spurning out Iron armies which'd be subjected to a new version of the curse of flesh, setting the stage for even more conflict. 11. the nage trying to retake their city in Borean Tundra. 12. the crystal satyrs finally getting a background, explaining why they're different from the rest of their kind. 13. Ethereals trying to sell the whole thing to something somewhere in the twisting Nether. The goblins trying to sell it first. 14. The Deathknights trying to carve out their own territories on the continent, causing petty wars between the other factions. 15. The Dragon aspects forces spreading out on their own = chaos. 16. surviving demon lords trying to retake control of the Scourge, with limited success. I'll shut up now.

All these "What Happened to ____?" videos make me desperately want a sort of revamp to old content. I'm not saying we need overhauled questlines, ala' Cataclysm. But it would be amazing to go back and see what's become of these places in the years since. They could treat it like they do current altered zones (such as Arathi and Silithus), offering a localized time-travel between past and current versions. And sure, they could add some meta-level content to keep it relevant, too. That would be.. just so cool. Fan Service: 9000.

Blizzard is removing factions because in the final expansion we will flight against Lich King. This is all according to plan.

Players are still farming for the elusive Time Lost Proto Drake which never spawns except once a month it seems. Unless you have it then of course you probably see it all the time. What is best is using the Inky Black Potion and then Going back to Northrend... WOW let the fun really begin!!

first of all, i love your videos... second of all, how come you didn't mention the vol'jin/bolvar meeting? third and one of the most major things is that you didn't mention that the blue dragonflight is no more, and only kalecgos is the one who stayed...although now he is helping us against n'zoth

Could you next make a video on either the Cataclysm zones or Pandaria, especially Pandaria, not to quote Garrosh but that place was RICH in resources that both factions should use, Cataclysm zones were few and spread apart in Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms as well as the main zone was Twilight Highlands but you also had Gilneas, Kezan and the Lost Isles. Would be cool to see another revamp that shows the Alliance expanding and rebuilding Gilneas, but also the Horde mining and gathering resources from Kezan and the Lost Isles, yes Kezan was the MOTHERLODE! dungeon and both zones got their volcano blown up, but still. As for Pandaria, well we've got Krasarang Wilds, Jade Forest, Kun-Lai Summit, Valley of the Four Winds, Townlong Steppes (if you're feeling risky) and the Vale (if the Pandaren let you in) both factions have all those Zones to gather resources from, hell you might even count Timeless Isle. All these zones from Outland, Northrend, Cataclysm and Pandaria may be rich in resources and history, but also Magic as you mentioned briefly in this video and Pandaria is practically the same as Northrend in that regard, we could learn a lot and both factions can develop magically-speaking quite far, I mean did you not see the power that Wrathion harnessed in the Legendary questline, especially from the Timeless Isle and how he used the Timeless coins to somehow augment our cloak in a way to be able to withstand all his power and not get destroyed, we could use that in our fight with the Old Gods and the Forces of Death (the ones that become our enemies though). Just something major to think about of the usefulness the older zones still present to this day.

I played WoW up to the Lichking, but quitted when they implemented cartoon characters (Kung Fu panda).. Wrote a letter to Dev's with the question when they implement Inspector Gadget.. I never got a reply.. Good game though, but it became too silly for my taste.

I wish that instead of cataclysm as an expansion, they had made it a sequel wow2 and change all the others zone and we would have seen what happened to Outland and Northern, and It wouldn’t be like it is right now that they feel out of place
