We were absolutely astonished to find the Salt Flats in this condition. I mean, it was beautiful, but it was a bit of a shock! Did you know this could happen? We had no idea!
This part of our roadtrip takes us out of Nevada, across the salty lands of Northern Utah, all the way over to Little America Travel Center in Southern Wyoming!

About Us:
Hi! We're Mike & Kerry, the proud owners of a 1992 Bluebird rear engine (pusher), 40' school bus! We named her Bussy McBusface in honor of the RRS Boaty McBoatface travesty!
We built a Tiny-Home-in-a-Bus for full-time living in the most adventure-friendly way possible. Bussy was never meant to be parked in a driveway, waiting for weekend trips or holiday getaways. After we finished the build, we packed everything we kept into the bus and drove away from our old house and into the world of off-grid living, aka boondocking, and endless travel adventures!
Since we planned to be boondocking the majority of the time, we made choices such as; a 100-gallon water tank, an Air Head composting toilet, a 1500w solar power system with 1000Ah in AGM batteries, etc. We'd love to have you stick around and follow us on our journey, from our Skoolie Build Series, to infinite buslife adventures beyond!

I was a foreman on the crew which build the tunnels. Also we’re in Gold country the biggest gold mines in the USA are between Winnemucca and Elko.

Hi Mike, Hi Kerry, Sounds like I have something in common with your Great Granpa because I lived on the streets of London for many years, from when I was 14 for several years until I met my first wife, anyway thats a long story.. The Salt flats are famous here as well, there has been many programs on our tv about the racing there..Its good to see the three of you doing so well and looking good, take care of yourselves and look forward to seeing you next week.. You can’t drive on the flats anytime. Racing is during August and October if it’s not raining.

Looks like you are heading west. If you would like to see the westernmost tip of the lower 48, swing by Port Orford Oregon. We run a Cliffside rv parking space that has views unrivaled. Been watching your stuff for awhile. If you make it, we will comp you a few free nights at the spot.

went to little america last year in may! i drove my shuttle bus to custer, sd to go see the crazy horse monument and if you go too, you have to pay the $4 and ride the old blue bird bus to the bottom of the monument! it's incredible! mt. rushmore was a huge disappointment, it's so much smaller than you see in videos and in photos... so small it can fit on crazy horse's cheek!!! i think the biggest disappointment about rushmore was there is no museum or anything like that at all, only a gift shop full of crap from china. crazy horse, on the other hand, has a museum that took us 3 hours to go through. it's the size of a small college campus! hope you guys make it to see the crazy horse monument, you wont be disappointed!

Just asking because we are pet friendly family around 10 minutes and 20 seconds Mamacita look like she had some red markings over her left shoulder possibly may be a burn not sure not helping anything bad just something I saw in the video

Prefer actually has some orange spots in it because her mother was a calico. They're very faint. You must have a good eye to notice that!
