Bussy McBusface

Күн бұрын

We've travelled from the Texas coast, back to Arizona, up to Northern California and then across Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming, on to our new destination... or is it destiny? For the next few months, Mike will be teaming up with Reed ~ the mastermind behind Wolf Rigs ~ as they make his vision a reality! The future looks bright for Bussy McBusface and Wolf Rigs in beautiful Denver, Colorado!

About Us:
Hi! We're Mike & Kerry, the proud owners of a 1992 Bluebird rear engine (pusher), 40' school bus! We named her Bussy McBusface in honor of the RRS Boaty McBoatface travesty!
We built a Tiny-Home-in-a-Bus for full-time living in the most adventure-friendly way possible. Bussy was never meant to be parked in a driveway, waiting for weekend trips or holiday getaways. After we finished the build, we packed everything we kept into the bus and drove away from our old house and into the world of off-grid living, aka boondocking, and endless travel adventures!
Since we planned to be boondocking the majority of the time, we made choices such as; a 100-gallon water tank, an Air Head composting toilet, a 1500w solar power system with 1000Ah in AGM batteries, etc. We'd love to have you stick around and follow us on our journey, from our Skoolie Build Series, to infinite buslife adventures beyond!
Mike & Kerry

When we were on 80 heading to Cali. we were hit head on by hurricane-force winds. We were in my wife's Jeep and it took it like a freight train! The only thing was that the luggage on top was sliding and every so often we had to get out and tighten it back up. It was crazy because you could lean into the wind and still be standing. Very weird sensation! Then came the mountains...

It is a very wise thing when u r driving a big bus is to Google earth the place u r going to and it will show u the places large enough to park your bus. It may even be satellite mode on Google.

Ok that is definitely gonna be an awesome rig when it's finished. Wow I'm gonna put my two cents in now and say it probably be worth 300 to $350,000 maybe more . Sprinter vans with a third of what that rig will have in it are selling for over $150 K and up . That rig is gonna be the rig of the future,👍👍 I know another bus owner who is building out a Humvee something like that. I can't wait to see the videos of this build . ✌💪💖🎅🚌🌻👍

I actually really love the wide open space of Wyoming! Not so much around Rock Springs maybe but just North of there. I just tried to type that it was probably the wind hold. Many rigs blew over in the past few days.

Do you guys not worry about using google maps instead of an RV safe GPS that factors in weight, height, and length of your rig? I've seen tops get ripped off, buses get stuck, and overall issues with directions from google that ask you to u turn and stuff, because it thinks youre in a car
@BussyMcBusface

We use a trucker GPS to navigate the bus. It is made by Garmin and is weight and height and length friendly.

We just used a cheap brand and it is held up fairly well. It was a 8-channel security system on Amazon but I replaced the DVR with one from tiger secure and had to put a solid state drive in it because hard drives and moving buses don't get along.
