Damn, I just checked and the company really thought of everything that could make this dangerous. It seems the rider in this video is actually wearing shoes with no shoe laces in addition to those gloves (which appear to be designed to prevent your individual fingers from getting caught), elbow pads, and helmet. I imagine they have those shoes on hand for riders similar to the way bowling places have bowling shoes you can borrow while you're there.

Seriously almost fought my neighbor once because he'd say "henlro doggo" any time he came home from work and got out his car. I watched him pull up one day & I waited hidden inbetween his trees. He says that crap and I popped out popping off and flailing my arms and whipping kicks. I can't remember what all I said, I was in a blind rage. I do know I made a lot of the "TSST" sounds boxers make and told him no more talking like that. Happy ending though, now he says "hey buddy" like a normal person and ushers his dog to the front door without making eye contact with me. I'll continue watching and waiting though.

The only problem I can see is that the more you use this, the more the integrity of the brush fibers, especially the middle rows where you can already see it happening, will be compromised, ends will get frayed, and the fibers will bend sideways until they go mostly flat or break. I imagine they just replace them since it wouldn't be too costly to do that. You could probably even recycle them. There's pretty much no way to make them infinitely usable since everything loses durability so you could only realistically increase their durability to a certain extent.

Good safety culture, I note 3 different ‘controls’ keeping you safe: 1. Padding & gloves aka PPE 2.The spotter 3. The lady on the left working the kill-switch As a former safety inspector, I would give a good rating

@@nikkij4873Yes, I believe the bristles would be pretty coarse on bare skin. And the flat surface on his palms is likely to stop his individual fingers from entering the slots where the bristles emerge from. We called them “Pinch points”. They also likely help him keep his balance, but I’m guessing on that bit for I have no surfing experience lol

Pretty sure that's just a camera. I believe the machine stops when it feels the resistance that stepping on a brush would cause

@@CertifiedClapaholicThe woman does appear to have controller which might be just in case the brushes for some reason don't stop. It's always a good idea to have multiple ways for a machine like this to turn off just in case.

I’d say they already have, hence why its an upcoming sport which I think will be a very popular one too u think. It was designed here in England, it’s been around since 2010 - if had the capital, I’d happily invest.
