I haven't spoken for almost a year and this happened to me after i starts to speak again (2015-2016. I partially lost my speaking ability. I forget words when i speak. Thinking capacity decreased. Always forget everything. Sad and depressed. I took me 5 months to be like a normal guy.

As a real quiet person, not just someone that says they are an 'introvert,' heres what will happen: After one year your voice will not be able to be at a louder volume for long if not much. You will have to try harder to speak across a room or even yell if youre far away. After prolong time, you WILL develop a stutter and some words will be harder to pronounce their dilect than others. You will at some point be unable to speak because pronouncing words will become diffucult and you will find yourself unable to speak at times because of hesitation, what I call a Mute stutter( you will have a harder time saying the first word of every other sentence).

Going on vocal rest can be a good thing if you have a vocal injury like nodules etc. they can completely dissapear if you stop talking but this only takes about 4 weeks and once you being talking again unless you change your vocal habit you will most likely get another vocal injury.

I didn't talk for around 13 years, lost all my social skills, lost confidense, had a weak very weak voice, so couldnt talk very high and shouting felt wierd. Nothing else. just had to start interacting in the community and getting my social skills along with my confidence back up.

I stopped talking for a week for charity once. It was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be. I found myself getting frustrated a lot and kept instinctively wanting to say something to people and suddenly remembering I wasn't allowed.

Also there are varying levels of the kinds of experience you can dream depending on the person, its rare but some can dream with absolute values of: pain, detail, gravity, color, logic, texture, and sensations such as falling or flying. People also have different levels of memory of their dreams. Ive found though that the worst dreams and types of dreams only happen to the people who can really deal with them, for example i dream with pain texture sensations color and nearly perfect memory and ive had dreams where i would be tortured with poles being shoved threw my chest as well as dreaming a life where everything is a video game with set rules and logic and numbers. There is also different concepts of time in dreams, some dream for a minute where they sleep for hours in real life while more rarely some peoples time perception is sped up to varying amounts or some enter dreams with weeks of previous memory and story kind of like starting a book and having a long backstory. The mind has been studied by various researchers and some results show it can be more active while dreaming. A dream can be anything you can imagine and more although some things are unlikely, it is entirely possible to live a seperate life dream by dream similar to reality only with anything fun and impossible. I myself have more memories of my dreams than reality and have experienced these things, dreams can be something worse than your worst nightmare or better than your dream life. This is also why i say age doesnt always matter. I got over that rebellious stage when i was 6 that most get at 15. Now you cant learn things about reality but you can experience a whole lot more than reality using whatever your mind crafts with the extreme and minimum sensations youve felt or even thought of
