제이(암컷) , 죠 (수컷) 나이는 모름, 3년째 우리집에 찾아옴.
Jay (female) & Joe (male): Age is unknown,
but they've been visiting my house for 3 years.
다람쥐 친구들이 시간차를 두고 겨울잠을 자러 갔습니다.
겨울동안에는 10월에 촬영한 영상들로 채워질 것 같습니다.
만약 겨울에 촬영한 좋은 영상들이 있다면 함께 볼 수 있도록 하겠습니다.
영상을 봐주셔서 늘 감사한 마음을 가지고 있습니다.

My chipmunk friends have gone to their winter sleep.
During the winter months,
I'm going to publish videos filmed during fall (Oct).
If I have a chance to get any good film during the winter,

They are very smart birds. I once changed my brand of birdseed to something cheaper, and a nuthatch threw sand up at my door and chirped loudly, looking right at me. It flew onto the screen of the door and 'yelled' at me, then would go back to the feeder tray and pitch seeds out. I got the message and went back to serving the good seed.

Yep. They are the bravest and most bossy. My local nuthatches will even chase off the bigger dark-eyed-juncos from the little dish of seeds I put out. I made a “nest” of an incandescent mini light string, wrapped it in tinfoil, then a tea towel and have shallow bowl of water nestled in it. It only freezes below about -7 and the chickadees love it.

Yall got it all wrong. The bird was demanding a pair of ice skates😂 I'd not leave my bath out..the cold and snow crack the bath.

제가 새도 좋아해서 새덕후님 채널도 자주 보는데 새들이 목욕하는걸 정말 좋아하더라구요. 깨끗하게 마실물도 있고 목욕도 즐길수있는, 새들한테 정말 딱 좋은 크기와 깊이의 멋진 수영장입니다. 근데 요즘 같은 계절엔 야생에서 마실물을 구하는것도 힘들겠네요😢

I put hot water in my bird bath almost everyday to melt some of the ice, the squirrels and birds then come to drink.

Obviously the birdbaths have clean and clear water, but that gold birdie knew that it's the Bluejay's territory, so the new friend was very hesitant! 🙀🕊️🛁🚿🐦💞🏞️

I love how Joe and Jay have made the bird baths their own, that they approve of what you and Tom have done all around your beautiful property, and so enjoy having their favorite spots. It's also sweet to see the different types of birds that also like to stop in for a drink, a bath and maybe a snack if one is available,lol, Choo Choo and Tom's Nature Resort for Wildlife where all friendly animals are welcome. They much prefer to have a bath in the clean water rather than any old muddy puddle!! I’ve never seen any of our little birds take a bath, only the Jays and possibly the Mocking Birds.. ❤

I try to remember to empty the water dish on my bird table and fill it with slightly warm water on cold days. I hope it helps. Wild birds have a hard life, but they never stop singing 😊🐦🐦

Birds clean their Feathers all day long, they need to be able to Take Off or Maneuver at anytime, a secure spot they know, is much better for them to bathe.

Beautiful videos! I love them all. You need to get a birdbath heater. It is critical for birds to have water to drink when water is frozen in their environment.

Yessss,,, ChooChoo is finally starting to turn into a birder, bit by bit 😄 I bet there are some amazing birds up there. Out on the lake in winter there are probably some nice migratory waterfowl too.

Feathers are waterproof. So, maybe birds bathe in the rain to clean the ones underneath the top layer on their torso and head.

I wish they made battery operated de-icers for bird baths. I go out every day to put fresh water into the many baths and bowls I have in my yard for the birds and animals. It amazes me how they will take baths on the coldest days. I love watching them. Bless you choo choo!

Jay's wing is looking much better. Maybe the rain water doesn't feel as clean as the water in the bird bath. The gold finch is beautiful! Such a popular day at the bird bath. The chickadee is calling you to come and put water in the bird bath is it. Thank you Choo Choo for the video. It was very interesting to see all of the different birds who come to visit you and Tom.

흠.. 제이와 조는 오늘도 부부싸움을 한것 같습니다. 얼마나 열받았으면 비오는 날 목욕 두번하고 욕실도 따로 쓰고. ㅋ 근데 다른 새들도 무지 이쁘네요. 참새목들은 많이 오는데 정작 참새는 안오는것도 신기하고. 참새가 없는 곳인가봐요. 그리고 아주 편안한게 그러고보니 이 채널 영상엔 고양이가 한번도 등장하지 않았다는거~! 정말이지 고양이는 작은 동물에겐 재앙과 같은 존재에요. 특히 새들에겐 공포의 대상이고 먹을것도 아니면서 작고 이쁜 새를 잡아서 입에 물고 있는걸 보면 얼마나 안타까운지.. 오늘 다람쥐는 안나왔지만 새들 많이 봐서 넘 좋았습니다!
