I'm filling out the i864 now and I m really confused on what to do. Husband never filed taxes this yr. He does make enough to support us ( me and 2 kids) but how do we prove that? His current job pays well. Transcripts that we obtained however for 2014 and 15 show a much lower figure bcuz he didn t make that much then. How will this affect us? Do we need a joint sponsor then? We don't have many options for that either. I Was told that if he doesn't have a recent return, he can provide his w2's instead. Would that be an alternative? Also, could he possibly get a letter from his employer stating how much he makes, hrs worked per week etc. Copies of pay stubs....that kind of stuff??

I'll interpret what the lawyer in the video said in plain English: What happens next? After losing your asylum claim in immigration court, and losing both appeals (a US Supreme Court review is unlikely), you are REQUIRED to leave the country. Straight up, case closed, finito. For the life of me, I can't understand why lawyers don't bluntly state this fact.
