This isn't from a Nintendo game, but Mugen Souls Z has a secret ending that is really funny. For context, a major reveal in the first game is that when Chou Chou calls herself the undisputed god, she turns out to actually be right. In this game, you control Chou Chou's group for the intro as they plan to conquer twelve planets (though they are still good guys, given Chou Chou's plans to "conquer" a world basically amounts to seducing the most powerful warriors and then declaring she owns it even when she leaves the government intact). These early fights cover up that the real main character of Z is another god called Syrma, who has to face Chou Chou as soon as she starts her journey. To emphasize the sheer difference in power between the two, Chou Chou is *level 9999* and is also being backed up by Ryuto for good measure. However, the player units can also reach level 9999 and there's a new game+. Now Syrma VS Chou Chou goes from unwinnable to one of the game's superbosses. Winning awards you a joke ending where the undisputed god laments that their conquest ended as soon as it began and Syrma goes on with her journey as if this was just an obstacle.
