► In the world of Pokemon, it is every professor's dream to see the young trainers they bestow the high tech Pokedex encyclopedia someday return to their lab with every entry completed. But what actually happens when you complete the Pokedex? What do you get? How do the professors react? Today, I'll be playing through Pokemon Sword and Shield's Isle Of Armor DLC Expansion for the Nintendo Switch and seeing what happens, what kinds of rewards and how people react to a completed expanded Pokedex! Is it worth completing the Pokedex? Lets find out!
About the Pokedex!
► The Pokédex is a digital encyclopedia created by Professor Oak as an invaluable tool to Trainers in the Pokémon world. It gives information about all Pokémon in the world that are contained in its database, although it differs in how it acquires and presents information over the different media. However, they are also only given to a few Trainers at a time, generally to the ones that are felt to have exceptional potential and skill. There are different types of Pokédexes and each Pokédex is special to a specific region. Pokédex entries typically describe a Pokémon in only two or three sentences. They may give background information on the habitat or activities of a Pokémon in the wild or other information on the Pokémon's history or anatomy. Pokédex entries also include height, weight, cry, footprint (prior to Generation VI), location, other forms, and a picture of the Pokémon. (Bulbapedia)

i think it only counts towards the pokedex if you catch/trade/evolve in game. transferring from home over to sword/shield does not count

I Would Literally Laugh For One Hour If You Completed The Pokédex And Then You Were Sent Into The Master Dojo And You Need To Battle Mustard But Not Your Traditional Pokémon Battle,You Have To Attack Mustard With Punches And Kicks By Pressing Some Buttons And Doing Combos To Defeat Mustard While Dodging Mustard's Attacks By Pressing B.

Frostail King You can get a regular slowpoke from the diglett guy and then if you trade it holding a kings rock it evolves into slowking

3:39 FYI, you don't need to travel to the train station to get back to the main galar land, you can just travel straight there. Also theirs a place to change your clothes and hair inside the Dojo

you can get porygon by beating the isle of armors main story. learnet it from lockstins 7 hour stream.

What you do is you get a random Pokemon, name it "Porygon PLS," and then go around on Link Trades. What I did, and it succeeded.

Actually, I think pokemon go isn't connected to Pokemon Home, since pokemon home is from the official producers of pokemon, while pokemon go however is owned by Niantic... I'm sorry if i am wrong...

@@jonathantenoso1452 I think right now it's not available but eventually it will be. On the graphic when home was first announced (I think) it was included as one of the games it was compatible with. However, it'll be a one way trip from go to home. I think I saw some articles mention all this as well.

This was the first time I’ve completed a Pokédex in one day, the crown got me super hype since I’ve always liked special items you get for achievements that you can wear. Just wish the crown looked a little more contemporary tho

Seeing the thumbnail for this vid motivated me to complete the Isle of Armor Dex in Sword. I WANTED that crown. Thanks to my roommate also having a Switch and PKMN Shield. I was blessed to able to do it in a day. Previously completing the Galar Dex helped tremendously. And unfortunately I didn't discover the Day Care thing till I was pretty much done. Would've saved me a lot of time trading between systems so my game would register Pokemon from HOME. Note to self: Watch PokeTips vids before attempting tedious tasks.

I've gotten a handful of marked pokemon randomly my most recent was today with a punkaboo, unfortunately my completed pokedex game wont run the dlc because it activated on a different save on the same system...but if I want to go through that torment again I could play the trade game again
