Is extra virgin olive oil healthy? Yes! Let's talk about the benefits of olive oil and what would happen if you consumed extra virgin olive oil every day.
I like to have olive oil on my salads, but there are many different ways you can consume it. You can even just take two tablespoons of straight extra virgin olive oil a day.
Extra virgin olive oil is pure fat, so it won't spike insulin. However, it's crucial to ensure you're getting real extra virgin olive oil and not fake extra virgin olive oil.

As an extra virgin olive oil producer from Southern Italy, with more than 2000 ancient olive trees, we are steeped in the tradition of cultivating and savoring our own olive oil. It's a ritual that's been passed down through generations and is part of our everyday lives. From my 2-year-old son to my vigorous 85-year-old father, who tenderly tends his olive trees as if they were his own children, we all relish the oil that our land generously offers us. This is not just olive oil for us; it's a lifestyle, a passion, and a connection to our roots that fuels our health and longevity. It's my belief that every drop of our olive oil is a testament to the vibrant, nourishing Mediterranean lifestyle that we are blessed to live. Choose genuine, choose local, choose healthy - embrace the essence of extra virgin olive oil!🧑‍🌾

I have been consuming 2 tablespoons of EVOO on an empty stomach every morning for at least 3 years now and have enjoyed the many health benefits by doing so. Combining that with a Carnivore diet, I went from weighing 230 lbs at 5'7" to 160 lbs. I was pre-diabetic and hypertensive with developing arthritis. All have been eliminated. I'm a 68 year old man and have the appearance of a young 50 year old. I also have the energy to walk 3-4 miles a day and walk 1 round of golf per week. I have also used EVOO for wound and skin care. I was involved in a bad bicycle accident that left me with severe roadrash on my face. After applying EVOO directly on the wounds, I was left with complete healing and no noticeable scarring after 2 weeks! I am a staunch believer in the many health benefits EVOO provides 😊.

I learn to fast but a few years ago, from my father who died in 2017 at 93. Everybody in his life that he was related to and loved dearly died a cancer early. I mention all this because he got me on this path of doing all kinds of anti-cancer stuff in my life, including fasting. But you Dr Berg have made me more proactive and up what I do with much better results and I thank you for that from the bottom of my heart. I'm 71 and was hurt in a terrible timber falling accident that's come back to haunt me in my older age. Along with a natural affinity to be a fat man due to the fact that when I was born I was immediately vsxed with polio and pneumonia, which took bones out of my ankle out of my knees and deform my back eck. And the list goes on from there on what problems I had because of the 2 vaxeses I was given in 1951 In my early 60s I really started to go down the pathway that you teach about. And month fasting once a year save me from cancer and from being a genuine fat man 😆👍 Then in my young years I worked in the timber industry, and had a terrible timber falling accident that broke every bone in my body from the top of my head to my feet. I say that because my wellness doctor here in Yakima Washington, found that I had brakes in my frame from head to toe every 30 seconds of an inch. And my body was inundated with rheumatoid arthritis that was attempting to take over my system. Change my whole way of eating and started fasting once a year, and was able to change the paradigm that I've lived with all my life so that I feel better than I ever have. You have, through your teachings, made me even more intentional about taking care of my health in every respect. In other words you've got my game about 75%, meaning that you help me to make it a game that's that much better. I feel better and I'm doing better right now than I have at any other time in my life, and so my thanks to you is profound. There is much more I can tell you about myself which is a living testimony to the fact that what you teach works. I'm getting ready to start another fast, but before I do I plan on getting a hold of you and your people to get more input. This is the 12th of November on Saturday and I'll be getting a hold of you folks on Monday or Tuesday. Thank you from the bottom of my ' pea picking heart

Dr Berg, here in Australia it is illegal to promote diluted olive oil as 'first cold pressed'. The fines are enormous. Cold pressed olive oil always comes in dark bottles because it is light sensitive. If the oil is in clear glass then you know that solvents have been used to extract the oil. The solvent is later removed from the oil before bottling.
@markkeeling7641
@markkeeling7641 Жыл бұрын
Dr Berg is losing his credibility. The same for the US. FDA demands ALL ingredients to be mentioned on ingredient label. My olive oil lists "cold pressed olives" so I don't know what bottle of olive oil he has picked up and saw the ingredients which mentioned anything else besides olive oil. Seems with that bold statement he made, he would have taken a picture of said bottles or bought them himself to make this video and showed the viewers, then took his receipt and returned them. He was bold to make this video with NO PROOF of said bottles. And we're supposed to take his word for it? Um, no.

@@TapioBlue I'm on OMAD during last 1,5 month. Not hungry at all, gone through a slow pace. But no starch, no sugar in the last 3,5 months. Two to three eggs daily, sometimes along with onions, tomato and bell pepper in an omelette. 50 grams of non pasteurised cheese, lots of salad. Lentil soup, twice a a week, fish too. Cretan Greeks used to eat about that much olive oil daily, that's why they lived beyond average, until they switched to a western diet during the last decades. That would work, provided you cut starch and sugar down, so that you balance olive oil calorie intake. Dr. Berg's videos have definitely been essential here.
