Save you 12 minutes... up your Omega 3's, and lower your Omega 6's. As long as those are in balance with each other (lower 6, higher 3) you can eat organic, fresh ground peanut-butter. The End.

Don't 4get that its not all about the #'s. Natural instead of the real Smooth kind is much better for ya! But, thx a bunch for the shorter version of the correct ratio to try to go by while eating it in modetation.😉😳😌

Here is a tip my boyfriend told me....if you turn the peanut butter that has the oil on top up side down over night not in your refrigerator but on the counter...so it not cold. It mixes it completely and then you don’t have that oily mess on top. Thank you so much for all of the Awesome information!!!!❤️

That’s exactly what I do with my peanut butter jar. Flip it upside down. 👍🏻
@1flovera3 ай бұрын
I literally just put that oil out of the jar lol
@rr7firefly24 күн бұрын
Another solution which I swear by: I put my jar of peanut butter (Laura Scudder) in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes. This causes the solid part to get firmer while the oil is still somewhat runny. I then open the jar, tip it to drain out a LOT of the oil into an empty jar. Then I have a jar of Peanuts Butter that is just right.
@frankmayer139 Жыл бұрын
Important to read labels. In the case of cheap peanut butter, the peanut oil is extracted and replaced with a cheaper seed oil like canola, sunflower, etc. Good peanut butter should have one ingredient: peanuts.

Sigh. There is an overabundance of information. Yes there are better and worse diets. The SAD is one of the worst. But also diets are very personal. I am using the word 'diet' in its original sense, as in 'what you eat regularly' rather than 'this is my current weight loss attempt'. My current thinking is that a low carb diet is best for most people.

Everybody are amazed about my memoriam. I raised also my two boys with peanut butter, and they are amazing in school. We don’t stop buying peanut butter even my 2 boys now that they have their own family . Now, I-am diabetic 2 , I lessen my bread, but I don’t want to stop my peanut butter, my doctor told me to put peanut butter on my banana, and apple in the morning and just eat one slice of bread.

I'm insulin resistant. My biggest problem is hypoglycemic episodes. I had always had toast with butter when I was young. My doctor told me to add protein to my breakfast to help stop the morning hypoglycemia. I bought bacon but I got tired of that quickly. Then I remembered that peanut butter has protein. So I stopped the butter on my toast, and put 1 tablespoon of peanut butter on my toast. It helped me stop having mid morning hypoglycemic episodes. Then I started having hypoglycemic episodes late afternoon even after having eaten a light supper. So now I eat toast with 1 tablespoon of peanut butter about 3 pm every day to stop the late afternoon hypoglycemia. I do have Rheumatoid disease but the bread has more to do with adding to the Rheumatoid disease than the 2-3 tablespoons of peanut butter per day. But the hypoglycemic episodes are so bad as it would take little to send me into a coma. So I'll take the pain first. Pain tells me I'm not in danger as a coma states loudly that I'm in critical trouble.

I love peanut butter as much as anyone, but when I eat it as a "staple" food (i.e. daily, or multiple times a week) I tend to get cold sores. The arginine gets too high in my body. So I only have peanut butter now and then as a treat. I love nuts and seeds, eat lots of pumpkin seeds, walnuts, (I don't overdo those either). I try to remember to eat more chia seeds! When I want a nut butter, I grind marcona almonds in my coffee grinder, and it makes a thick almond butter.

Just wanted to add one more thing I love peanut butter !!! I make my own with organic Valencia peanuts I always add the Celtic sea salt which has tons of minerals and it’s good for you and also either grapeseed oil which doesn’t leave a taste and it’s not bad for you or sometimes I’ll put sesame seed oil .

Dr Mandel, I dont know how to say thank you enough. I'm a patriotic Patriot times 10. For the past 10+ yr I've started my day with current world events. I know what's going on and frankly I'm sick of the slomo recovery. Nuff said cept to say; now I start my day with you. Why th chg? 3 weeks of gout. NUFF SAID cept to say your info has given instant and sustained relief. I thought I was eating well. Inflammation and stress are the antithesis to eating well. Eating weller is the antithesis to inflamation and stress. Oh, to be clear...I dont just start my day with you, I find you throughout my day. THANK YOU.
