Jabeur's defeats at Wimbledon'22 and USO'22 are somewhat bearable because her opponents were Rybakina and Swietek👍but Wimbledon'23...just painful as hell 🙁

Her only non-painful GS final was USO against swiatek she was unbeatable but the other two were absurd ( rybakina wasn't that great player at that time she has improved so much since then plus ons was hot favorite to win it and she won a set )

Honestly when gauff started her professional career her play was.. pretty much average imo it's not like she won but their opponents lost the matches most of cases. But obviously I do give credit her for that one cause she was mentally strong (Wimbledon is example where she reached her first GS 3 or 4 round I don't remember exactly). But she's much improved and she clearly deserved her US slam cause she played unbelievably well. Comes from a Polish person.

Really nice video! All of that is basically the truth ;) Of course some of those players fought their flaws. Sakkari won Guadalajara, Coco improved her forehand, Iga does not jump next to the net any more, even Sabalenka screams less lately. Jabeur, Pegula, Vondrousova, Zheng for sure do their best. With Rybakina, well, what she can do with the way how she behave. Only Jelena Ostapenko just feels comfortable with the way how she behave on the court and for sure she should improve. I need to admit that watching Ons loosing last Wimbledon final is just sad :(

She is just a hit and miss. Some people do love her on those rare occasions she wins. However, it always been been misses after big wins and has been in poor form after her 250 tournament win at Linz.

I may have something else to add to this videos Iga : has to work on her slices and dropshots , has to come to the net more often Sabalenka: no need to overhit everything. It's not always about power Rybakina: why does she always have digestive problems ? Gauff : what's with the angry face on court ? Pegula : something is missing from her game probably power Jabeur : again the angry face why does always look miserable on court ? Vondrousova : very defensive style Zheng : sore loser Ostapenko: weird outfits and iconic handshakes Sakkari : fears big names ( was completely destroyed in IW )

Swiatek: initially true but she's changed Sabalenka: harsh but true, but not the loudest we've seen and at least hers are consistent Gauff: FH isn't s**tty but it is her more vulnerable wing Rybankina: she's a calm and cool cucumber, frankly a welcome change of pace from all the cliche screamers/cmonners/cheer opponent errors types Pegula: Brady was a missed opportunity but she played well, Swiatek ..... who really thought she could beat her there? It's not a good thing to be criticized for. Hopefully all players can use good sportsmanship. At least in the last year or so Swiatek has stopped the stuff on court she used to do. Her sportsmanship is improving.

Read my comment. The recent criticism ranges from no personality, robotic in her playing and bad sportsmanship in nit credit other people for their wins just talk about how she played badly, I don’t agree with them but she seems to be a magnet for criticisms.

I’m actually surprised that Zheng didn’t get a lot of shit for how easy her AO draw was. Certainly not her fault but haters usually have a field trip with such things (eg Ruud’s finals runs which were way harder than hers). That being said, I do feel like she’s maybe a tad overranked as #7 but in the same time the rest of top 5-10 are so inconsistent recently that who else? It’s just mad how the highest ranked opponent she faced was #75-76. Crazy WTA stuff.

Ons Jabeur comes up smaller than Mini Me in a big spot. But i felt bad for her when it came out that she was gonna have a seed if she had won Wimbledon, and didn't do it because she lost. That's alot of pressure to pit on yourself. Calling Ostapenko a drama queen is like calling a sumo wrestler slightly overweight. Its a gross understatement.

The hand waving criticism of Iga is old news (hasn’t done since San Diego in September 2022). I thought the main criticism nowaday is that she lacks personality and is robotic in that way she plays her tennis. The sportsmanship is more about the fact she does not credit people for wins just talk about she played badly when she loses.

It's an awful thing to do, criticise someone over 'no personality'. What is she supposed to do? Let her play, that's all she needs to do, the rest is not our bussiness. And at least she is quite graceful in defeat at the net, some players barely shake hands when they lose. She knows what she's capable of when her game is on, so it's natural that she'll blame her own performance. I don't think she could be outplayed if she plays 100%.
