I make these…call them veggie pancakes. Sauté/stir fry the veggies prior to mixing with batter for more flavor. One of my faves…

The Hambugerless Helper is a favorite around here. So easy and so tasty! I always double the recipe so we can eat it for dinner, then have leftovers for lunches for a couple of days. Last time I made it, I cooked a whole pound of lentils in my pressure cooker, used half in that night's doubled recipe, then froze the leftover lentils. I had a busy day today, so I was excited when I remembered that I had the frozen lentils. Made it so easy to make tonight's Hamburgerless Helper!!

Here’s an lol for you guys I was off sugar and all sweets for about 21/2-3 weeks and had a craving so I bought 2small cookie packs from the dollar tree and mixed with some icing to nibble on. It didn’t taste as sweet on the tongue then, I kid you not , in 5 minutes my stomach was rebelling and began to hurt a little . Then in about 20 minutes ALL THE JOINTS in the feet ankles knees elbows and hands began to hurt ! I grabbed some decent food with a tater and water to drink which helped a little with the pain I was miserable with pains in and on the bod for about 5 hrs KNOW ONE HAS TO TELL ME SUGAR IS BAD FOR YOU I have FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE!!!! LOL. THATLL TEACH AN OLD GAL ( I’m 681/2) lol

I have never seen anybody make their omelette like that before. I’ve been calling it Vegetable Crepes. I make mine like yours but I do not add nutritional yeast. I use much more onion powder much more garlic powder and more Kala namak, all different veggies including mushrooms, asparagus, spinach, sautéed onions and peppers. I make one daily, always different. I also added my left over tomatoe sauce in place of most of the water, added rosemary. The lists of things to add is endless!

I love your genius ideas on meals! For starters you whip them up quickly, but then they also taste amazing! Most of the meals I make are recipes inspired by your videos…heck, I even created 2 meals of my own with no recipe and they turned out freakin phenomenal!! I agree, steamed broccoli is the best! My husband gave me a truckload of grief when I said that broccoli would be one of the three foods I'd have in a desert island scenario, but I stand by my choice.

Just made a combo of both these sauces lol ! Used the base of the second one and just dumped whatever I had broccoli spinach kale artichoke hearts, black olives, rotel, red lentil pasta . Even served over brown rice lol So good!

For my pesto, I do walnuts or almonds! I'm not on a strict weight loss diet so it's fine for me and the nuts add that creaminess and fat that the oil would add

I blend 1/2 cup WYW Nooch with 1/4 cup cashews and 1/4 cup oats and a good dowse of Stardust. My faux parmesan is out of this world!

Freeze extra tomato paste in an ice cube tray, and then transfer it to a sandwich bag for the freezer. It's a good way to use it up without actually having to use it all up in a dish.

The cookware we use is an older Kirkland Signature set from Costco. They switched to only non-stick, but they might be selling a similar stainless steel set again.

You talked a lot about cholesterol. 4 years WFPB now. Got my 310 cholesterol down to 125 in 6 months. I’m 54 years old, 5’1, 104 pounds, exercise 6 days a week for 30 years yet my cholesterol was high due to hereditary. Got it down just going WFPB. It’s the way! Love your channel.

thanks - all three dishes looked really good but the last one answered my question I had earlier today : "what am I o do with all the broccoli I have in the fringe?" The pesto is a fabulous idea and I would never have thought to use broccoli , looking forward to making this tomorrow!

In hindi these chickpea omelets are called chilla. I'd call these besan ki chilla. Chillax with a chilla

Do ya think I could bake the batter in a small silicon muffin pan as little quiches, and what temp and time to try? Looks awesome, but I've made similar in the past and they came out so gummy. BTW, the recipe on the web page for this doesn't include a liquid or measurement?

You're very inspiring! I love your videos. I've recently read in Dr. Michael Greger's book (How Not to Diet Cookbook) that we should avoid non-stick pans whenever possible. Since we're all about not using oil, what's your pan surface of choice?

Just came across your site. Trying to change over to WFPB eating. Tried the Hamburger(less) Helper but used Almond milk instead of soy (because that's what I had). Tastes pretty good. Tastes better the 2nd day. Guess it's kinda like other stews/chilli/casseroles that improve after having a chance to marinade overnight. Good site.

Congrats on starting your journey, John! Although we list soy milk as the ingredient, you can always use your favorite plant milk. We just found that soy milk is easier to find without added oil, gums, salt, and sugar.

Hey Dylan! I’am new here starting plant based! I used to eat eggs for years? I’ve actually just gave up eggs? I just bought tofu! Didn’t do anything with them yet! I’ve Only eaten oatmeal or whole grain cereal? With walnuts’ I make fruit smoothies with unsweetened almond milk!! I need all the help ! I go out on dates with my wife? I’m struggling what to order?
