In this vlog - healthy, home cooked meals throughout my day that are super easy to make.
Tbh, cooking feels like a chore most of the time, so I try to keep my meals as quick and easy as possible! My husband and I believe that quality animal protein is the best source of protein and nutrition, so that's what we mainly focus on to keep us healthy and energized for jiu jitsu, strength workouts and overall daily life.

I love your videos, Kimberly! I stumbled across your channel about a year ago. I didn't have a particular interest in health or fitness and I'd never heard about Jiu-jitsu. You inspired me to take better care of myself and even sign up for BJJ classes. My second lesson is tonight! Thank you so much!

@@kimberlykinch It was fantastic 😍 There about four other girls in the class and they seem excited for me to join. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to getting deeper into the sport 😁

I really struggle with eating before jiu jitsu class. I train at night so sometimes if I’m really busy during the day I don’t eat enough and then I feel low energy in class. But I never want to eat too close to class starting either because I don’t want it to…come up lol probably one of those things I’ll need to keep practicing with.

Same!! All these years later and I’m still trying to find the balance lol. I try to at least eat a good meal before I teach the kid’s classes because then I’ll have time to digest before I train.

I drink bone broth before class if I don’t think I can get a quick meal in. I’ll maybe eat a banana, but I save my substantial eating for after rolling at night! Hope that helps.
