Pokemon Journeys is the newest generation of the Pokemon Anime. However, despite the many highs, there are also several criticisms of it. Today I bring you the twenty-sixth part in my rewrite of this new series, where I will attempt to fix some of these issues, as well as add in some things I would've liked to have seen in the series so far. Pokémon Journeys: The Series is the eighth part of the anime series. It features all of the regions from the main-series games, including the Generation VIII games Pokémon Sword and Shield. This series shares its Japanese name with the original series when the anime first premiered in 1997, and is officially labeled with "2019", the year this series started in, for disambiguation. This new series focuses on the two protagonists Ash Ketchum and Goh, along with their partners Pikachu and Cinderace. It also features a young girl named Koharu (Chloe), who has a Yamper, and her father, Professor Sakuragi (Cerise), who runs a laboratory in Vermilion City. It features all the regions that have appeared in the Pokémon games, from Kanto to Galar. Pokémon from each region will also appear while Ash is pursing Leon in the Pokemon World Coronation Series (PWC) and Goh is chasing his dream in Project Mew.

These were awesome battles! I enjoyed how Gible and Scraggy evolved to showcase their powers, and I liked how Dragonite, Charizard, and Scrafty had bittersweet moments with their opponents as they finally defeat them.

Loved the Ash v Lance battle from the beginning, through the fights, as well as the aftermath! The whole section with Farfetch'd was also cool to see, and it's so like Ash to take the blame for something like that 😅Ash v Iris was also awesome to see! Scraggy evolving, the retrspective of its friendship with Haxorous as an Axew, all of that made it not only a cool battle, but also emotional as well!

Amazing battles. Great job; keep up the good work. Can't wait for Ash vs Cynthia; I could see some canon aspects from the episode before the battle. Also, the only pokemon I can see Ash using are Pikachu, Lucario and Infernape; not sure about the rest. Guess we'll have to wait for part 27.

Well, those were two grueling battles. Ash vs. Lance was quite exciting. Poor Noivern getting knocked relatively easily is sad, but Gible getting to evolve AND assist Tyranitar in getting a win was great. Some of that Donphan love shining through, ehh? He did extremely well, and the way you described it had me enthralled. Tyranitar vs. Dragonite being this savage battle makes me wonder how you'll end Ash vs. Cynthia, since it had a similar ending in canon. Ash vs. Iris was everything I could have wanted. Charizard vs. Dragonite, Krookidile getting time to shine, Scraggy holding his own and barely winning by the skin of his... hide? Haha, either way, was invested, that's for sure. Rose and Pionee(sorry if I spelled his name wrong) is heating up as the brothers have now seen each other. I also love how protective the champions are of the new generation. Nice to see them acknowledging that it really shouldn't be up to kids like Ash, Iris, and Alain to deal with these complicated issues. Of course, that won't stop them from helping. If it wasn't obvious, this was an incredible return of the series. Nice job

The battle between Tyranitar and Dragonite is just like a actual Kaiju battle something you will see in a Godzilla movie and Ash’s Tyranitar it’s amazing and I did wish Ash actually cold one in Johto when he befriended a Lavitar that he didn’t keep it could’ve been Ash’s johto Ace and speaking of Kaiju that moment, when Ash Dynamax his Dragonite Açai from Lance’s Dragonite and the battle between Haxorus and Scraggy who now evolved from Scrafty your version of Pokémon Journeys is way better than the one we got at I mean the one that we have wishes mediocre, at worse but ok at best

Tyranitar was an easy choice for Pokémon Ash could get in this Rewrite, as well as Pokémon to get the spotlight in this battle

Electro just my opinion but either charizard or pikachu deserved the centrestage for lance. Because they were the kanto aces

I considered it, but seeing as Lance is the Champion of both Kanto and Johto, I felt as though the Johto Tyranitar would be a great choice. Heracross could've been considered since most consider that the ace of Johto, but Tyranitar was more fitting

Ive noticed that a couple of pokemon in your Pokemon Journeys rewrite have been using the move Earthquake, i thought that move along with Magnitude & Fissure were banned from the anime after a series of earthquakes in real life in 2004

I haven't really heard anything about that. At the same time though, this is my Rewrite so I've been doing things how I'd write it. Hence why May has shown up despite the fact her voice actress is in no condition to have done so (which is why she never showed up apart from a cameo in canon)

I feel like I have been treating him as an ace. He hasn't been the last Pokémon standing, but he was shown to be a pivotal ally in the battle with Iris

I don’t get it why is everyone’s team the same in all battles. Ash changes his team. They definitely have reserves. That way battle can be a bit more unpredictable.

Because everyone else's team is designed competitively with specific strategies in mind. In order to utilize reserves to that same extent would require extra hours of planning over what reserves would be able to function similarly to ones already on the team, movesets for those additional reserves, how they'd act in battle, and additional field testing on Pokemon Showdown to see that these strategies actually work to some extent
