ARC-5555 'Fives' was it not for your money paying every rebellious army in Europe you would not have stand a chance. In a purely 1vs 1 you always had the advantage of being an island, easier to get invaded from Germany than from Scotland. We had to field the best army on the continent AND a fleet being able to compete with you. You did not need an army nor Prussians a fleet ... After 1700, the winner of the war was purely based on who was allied with Prussia at the moment. What’s is for sure is that the times we got into your alliance, your help fighting on the continent hasn t been super effective ... you seem to be only good at protecting the channel ... perfide Albion tout ça tout ça quoi :)

Because in real life the main battle that lead Napoleon to fail was putting on of his brother on the throne of Spain, he lost a lot of soldiers even tho Spain was a useless country to invade, with all those soldiers the following battles would have been easier but this was his downfall

I find it interesting that the US seems to lose a lot more men in these simulations than what historically happened. They usually come in at the most losses of any nation that isn't the Soviets or Germany (France instead of Germany here).

@Nobody Cares lol, Napoleon fell back from Russia primarily due to logistical reasons (supply window got too thin the farther into Russia he got). Obviously, Russian mentality of doing everything possible to win also played a part.

actually for some reason in Hoi4 even if Germany won't declare war against the Soviets, they will.. wich is quite stupid as Stalin didn't want war with Hitler, what's more Stalin didn't even belive his own men (spies) about that Germany is preparing to declare war against them

If someone like a napeoleonic figure came into the French side of WWII they could have managed a good fight against the germans, maybe even winning, because the soldiers and their leaders wouldn't be so afraid of fighting. If they invaded the Germans during the invasion of Poland they could have done lots of damage and Germany could lose the whole war.

Had France more time(Napoleon responsibility he started it, LOL), to build industry, and Federalize Europe, and it would be other very different story. 400 M Europeans versus 180 M Soviets,and 200 Americans and British,Napoloenic France would have had clearly the upper hand.

Coming back to this, I love how history basically repeats itself, with Napoleon going through the Alps to attack northern Italy, and then leaving himself open to Allied invasion by invading Russia.

I think it's really impressive that Germany held the whole line against the soviets until capitulation, also they had less casualties than France + USSR which was also nice

In game Ussr in 1941 still had "purges" debuff, so theirs division attack has been reduced. At the time France attacked Soviets (1942) they had smaller debuff, so they didn't die to France as easily, as they die to Germany is 1941

I would just suggest to have the higher casualties first on the list so that we can see all the countries that are doing the fight and not miss one or two minors. And if you could, have a total casualty count at the end of the video or something would be awesome . Other than that it’s pretty good the format. - Swedish Empire- )•-•(
