So, last week I explained what would happen if Goku was the “Legendary Super Saiyan” or what I called having Broly’s potential later in the video, and why it wouldn’t really work out for crafting a story, but another character does fit here perfectly - the Saiyan Prince Vegeta. You see, Vegeta having an abnormally high power level was something expected as the child of the King and him being 5 years older than Goku puts him off world at the time of Planet Vegeta’s destruction. While this base power increase would be notable, it actually wouldn’t mean Vegeta has access to Broly’s Full Power Super Saiyan form immediately.
As a quick catch up, I explained in my last video how Broly’s transformations work and they are different then normal Super Saiyan. If you want more details go there, but regardless just know that he can’t transform immediately. So, the story actually goes unchanged from this point beside Vegeta being stronger than canon and Broly being on Planet Vegeta when it blows up since Vegeta is the one with his mutation now NOT Broly. From here, we can fast forward to the Saiyan Saga. The fight against Raditz and even the initial fight with Nappa don’t change so our story actually begins in the wasteland.

I don't like how you explained about the LSSJ prophecy, it just doesn't make sense at all. We all know that What if'ers bend the rules of the storyline, just please think of how the other Dragon Ball characters can alter the what if. Example: Bardock would've prevented King Vegeta's scientists scanning LSSJ Kakarot's power level, since he knows King Vegeta would STILL exile the baby.

I think you should redo the if goku was the legendary super Saiyan or at least make an alternate because if you think about in the video you said that he would in the elite capsules like broly was and if that's the case then technically king Vegeta would discover his potential jus like he did with Broly and exile him to make bardock and gine go after him like Paragus did

Doesn't it feel wrong that something Broly level wouldn't be able to overpower a hakai? I feel like Vegeta's pride would turn to rage and after almost being engulfed by the attack, he'd overpower it like Frieza did when hit by a hakai. After that, Whis would have had to knock out this version of Vegeta. I feel like all these what ifs that involve Vegeta end with his death and this would be the one instance where he'd come out at least with a possible future.

Beerus is the strongest Hakaishin, unlike the one that trying to assasinate freeza. On top of that Beerus limit is still unknown because its seems like Goku and Vegeta in the manga rn still not a match for beerus. If Gogeta Kamehameha enough to kill Brolly then i dont see why Beerus with unknown limit cant erase this Vegeta .

Right? Everyone says Goku and Vegeta get all the spotlight in the show but then in the what ifs it's all Gohan, Goku, Broly, and Bardock. Second tier is Raditz, Krillin, Piccolo, Tien, and even Roshi or Kami. Then you get your Friezas, Cells, and Jirens. More often than not, Vegeta gets screwed over in the end of most. Either he's killed off early or constantly humiliated throughout. Everyone is always miles ahead of him (Gohan and the entire Son family, sometimes Nappa, Piccolo and the humans, etc etc). And even when he wins, he loses. Case and point, this one. Beerus destroyed him for doing the thing he wanted him to do, provide a challenge. And that's almost always how the ones where Vegeta "wins" end, he gets hakai'd out of existence by Beerus or the universe gets erased by Zeno.

late reply but, I would assume because this Vegeta is not only MUCH stronger than Frieza at this rate, but also his power is constantly growing and growing. With no end in sight. Beerus probably realized this and... fearing that Vegeta may even surpass him. Killed him, but you are right. I doubt it was cuz he wasn't "good" and more as a "threat" Beerus could easily stomp Frieza, assuming if he was still living. Not so much a Vegeta who has Broly's potential.

Would it be possible to change race, such as from a Human to a Saiyan, using the Dragon Balls? I've had this thought for days and think it would be a good What If. Like Tien or Yamcha or even Yajirobe using the Dragon Balls and becoming a Saiyan. Would Shen Long or Porunga even be able to grant that wish?

@@enlightning7978 Masako-X is also running a story where Yamcha became an Android like 17 and 18, but its not "What of Yamcha was an android" its something that happened because of another What-If, though I admit I forget which one it is. I think its "What if Hercule trained like Goku?" He is also doing one called what-if called "What if Yajarobe trained like Goku."

When I saw the title for this video I was hoping you were going to go a different route, because I’ve thought about this actually being the case. Goku has no intention of being the god of destruction or rivaling berrus. He sets his sites for the grand priest/zenos. I feel like the actual saiyan that he has his vision on as far as rivaling him is vegeta. Goku doesn’t even really acknowledge their power or set out for it. He came a mfing angel damn near.

Hey Carthu, would you mind making one of the following: -What if Rigor from Dragon Ball: New Age was canon? -What if Frieza trained in hell for 20 years before his revival? Cell would be killed by vegeta or trunks. A18 wouldn't be in the Z-fighters. Goku would still be alive. Gohan would be stronger. Buu wouldn't be revived. Doesn't really change much beside universe 7 needing 2 new fighters.

@@yado4281 Vegeta Wasn't a threat to the Universe. He wasn't Moro. He was someone who threatened Beerus' position and power. If I was a GoD and challenged someone to a fight, I'm not gonna kill them because they surpassed me. I would have them do the GoD training and let them become the new one. I don't know how you would do it but that's the correct way.

The thing is strength always seems to balance out in dragonball it’s like a universal prerequisite (for example when the main cast gets stronger due to trunks travelling back in time the androids are just stronger in that timeline)

The androids weren't "stronger" in Trunks's timeline (both Androids from the future and the past have the same power level);They used less power because that timeline's Z-fighters were weaker

If you stack ikari with SSJ wouldn't that mean a 500x increase?

It's a widely accepted theory that many DragonBall YTers are now denying because they want views and are running out of content ideas. If Vegeta stacked Ikari and LSSJ together, the multiplier would have taken him to 1.5billion on Namek, not the same level as regular SSJ Goku. When these people really don't want to do a what-if, they nerf the character Death Battle style; like how Carthu straight up ignored the fact that in less than 6 hours Broly with his own potential went from below SSJ Vegeta to matching a SSB fusion while this version of Vegeta has had the form for literally almost 20 years and trains regularly and is still fodder for a Beerus that barely has a handle on the first fraction of UI. It's also why he makes these types of what-ifs one-shots, because he either hates the character or he hates the premise.

@@trohyme in the Ikari/Super Saiyan case, it would be possible. Ssj1,2,and 3 are all the same transformation fundementally, with Akira Toriyama stating that 2 and 3 are just powered up variations of SSJ. Oozaru/Ikari is a fundementally different transformation, there is nothing stopping a sufficiently powerful Oozaru from tapping into Super Saiyan. 10*50 would equal 500 in this case.

I can't believe that in his whole life he hadn't felt enraged or mad making him transform into Ikari. It had been 20 years working for Freeza and he hadn't shown, not even once, his great potential. If Freeza would've seen Vegeta exceeding the power level of his men, he would've killed Vegeta.

it would be more interesting if you somehow let earth stay there, maybe krillin tells vegeta he can still get immortality if he goes to namek or something as a bluff vegeta would probably say "if your lying im coming back to kill you" then leave them alive and leave asap to get the namek dragon balls.

Well the video is what if VEGETA was the Legendary Super Saiyan. There is only one, plus nobody asks for them both to have that mutation. I guess the video we should request is 'What if Vegeta had Broly's potential too?'

If only Vegeta got the immortality... The Hakai at least wouldnt work on him And sure he was never going to get it from the namekians, but if as an emperor he got a set of them the way Granolah did he might have won in the end

@@thekingdoggo6980 Yeah but you saw how easily it broke when Gohan tested it If Vegeta can stall Beerus enough to surpass him then no matter how many of those Beerus has they'd all shatter when hitting Vegeta, Beerus would win if he used the sword before Vegeta surpassed him and reinforced it with his energy to ensure it wouldnt break in contact with him, but the problem is that Beerus is just as overconfident in his abilities as Vegeta so there's a good chance that when he decided to do that it would already be too late
