I will respect someone else's "right" to be another gender, right up until the moment it infringes upon a single one of my rights. My free speech, my daughter's right to not lose an athletic scholarship to a man, her right to not have to share a bathroom with a biological male, etc. I don't care if you want to be a lampshade or a wad of toilet paper... I won't change my behavior or relinquish my rights to appease someone's delusion.

So at which point will you respect other people exactly?
@cosaosa2855
@cosaosa2855 2 жыл бұрын
@@7king8debs79. The first sentence of my comment covers that. Transgenders, gays, those furry people I heard about, etc. They've all got my instant respect as human beings, until it diminishes my rights. Whatever you want to do, however you want to live, do so at your own peril, but don't involve me in it. Anything outside that...whatever for whoever. Do I have to share a bathroom with a member of the opposite sex? Will legislation be created to force me to call a man a woman? Does a real woman athlete have to lose medals/scholarships/records/opportunity/spotlight because a biological man calls himself a woman and competes against her? Will a parent get his kid taken away from him because he refuses to kowtow to public pressure of gender identity? All of these instances not only infringe upon the rights of others, but HAVE happened.
@7king8debs79
@7king8debs79 2 жыл бұрын
@@cosaosa2855 you don't have to share a bathroom with someone of a different gender...a transman isn't different in that respect and they are not a threat to you. Sports, I agree, it's complicated. If transpeople have an unfair advantage then they should compete against others where the advantage doesn't exist. No legislation will force you to call a man a woman, but you may have to call a transwoman, she/her and that's ok because they're a transwoman. Not impinging on your rights, just reinforcing civility on a basic level. If a parent is damaging to their child, in whatever form, then sure they should have limited access to that child.
@cosaosa2855
@cosaosa2855 2 жыл бұрын
@@7king8debs79 1. "a transman isn't different in that respect and they are not a threat to you". There are two girls in Loudoun County, Virginia (who were raped by a male claiming to be a trans girl) who would disagree with you. If you have male genitals, you have no business in a woman's bathroom/lockerroom and vice versa. 2. "Sports, I agree, it's complicated". It's not complicated, it's very simple. It's completely unfair for the masses to cater and bend to the whim of the mentally unbalanced. Lia Thomas is a man: scrotum, penis, male hormones, sperm, more quick-twitch muscle fibers, etc. So, he is cheating. 3. Legislation does exist in Canada (C-16) that forces people to use pronouns which are contrary to the sex of the person being addressed if they wish it. This is by definition, an infringement on one person's rights in order to grant another's. 4. The parent wasn't abusing or damaging a child, just standing in the way of medical treatment for a child who isn't yet ready to fully decide if what they're feeling is gender confusion. If you watch Matt Walsh's excellent documentary, you'll understand where your thinking is flawed. A woman is a female adult. A man is male adult. This reality is undisputable, regardless of the twisted perceptions of a select few. If a "transwoman" (who has male genitals) forces me to call him a woman...not gonna happen. My 1st amendment rights are (and always will be) more important. Civility goes both ways.

@@7king8debs79 Does someone identifying as an animal count as a person? (Asking for a friend) - Seriously, I'm all for live and let live, and agree what happens between two consenting adults is their business. I will however draw the line at indulging animal fantasies that most medical professionals outside the US would class as a kid's imagination, or in an adult an actual mental illness. No threat with shared bathrooms? Tell that to young girls. My former school wanted to have gender neutral bathrooms, thankfully, everyone knew that "childish pranks" by the boys would make visiting the bathroom a living hell for vulnerable young girls. I am happy to accept trans identities, but we need rules to protect everyone.

I called myself a tomboy while my peers were all getting their cycle and liking boys, I knew I would change too once my cycle came and magically although I didn't get my first cycle til age 16, I also stopped wanting to be a tomboy and loved being a girl, still do and I am 30. Do not let children whom haven't even hit or let puberty changes settle take dangerous hormones. I was convinced I was a lesbian and was a tomboy/hated girly things until I hit puberty and I am SOOOO glad nobody pushed this madness onto me and just accepted me as a more masculine GIRL. I will always have some tomboy in me as a full grown woman and thats OK. Why are we not letting people explore fashion/hobbies/lifestyle as the gender that they ARE??? I could care less if I see a man wearing makeup but to dictate to a stranger that you as a man who wants to be a woman, gets to change the English language, take REAL women's opportunities away, use the womens restroom and putting real women's needs below yours...how on earth is this equal???? Just another misogynistic angle to take women's rights away. Having a man who went through puberty as a man all of a sudden go on hormones as a 20 something and less than a year later, gets to swim against REAL women and take the gold medal away from the rightful winner...How is this equal????You need professional help if you don't think you are the gender you ARE. Again, there are so many ways to be the gender you ARE without taking rights away from the people born with the gender you wish you had.

It shouldn't be the case that such a common sense take marks you forever on the internet but here we are. As others here have said, you need all the support you can get. This is the first time seeing you and you've earned a sub. Don't back down. Don't apologize. Keep true to reality, and keep true to yourself. The second you give an inch to these people they will see it as weakness and drag you through the mud. I have to say for someone as young as yourself, making a stand on this IS actually "stunning and brave". You said yourself about your conservative friend getting shut down all the time, and that was just in school. Take that and amplify it 100 fold and it starts to get close to the impact that has on someone in society as a whole. So as much as I don't know you and I have nothing to do with you, still I am proud of you.

I have no problem with people pretending to be anything they want but then forcing others to accept their fantasies or feelings as reality is going way to far. If this kind of thinking became normal in all areas of life (like science, physics or engineering) millions would suffer or die. Any society based on fantasies instead of reality will not last long...
@SeaRaven227

It's kind of the point though. That's how Marxist gain power, make people unable to discern reality so you can gain power and maintain it easily. Us letting them pretend to be whatever they want is part of the problem, at the begining they might not try to force others, but weaker willed or damaged people will fall for it and join them. Eventually they reach critical mass and start spreading it around by force like now. It's already infiltrated science and the medical fields, it's only a matter of time before doctors decide that the fact certain medication reacts differently on men and women is a detriment to their agenda and "disapeared". It will hurt people, but they won't be able to recognize why so they won't care. I guess the only good point is that all the Doctors and "specialists" that know they're lying for the cause will die if they succeed and society falls to Marxist ideology, they always do. You can't keep the people who know the truth around... But you're still left with a bunch of clowns that can't discern or comprehend truth and reality so you're fucked anyway.

This problem goes well beyond the transgender issue. It is literally woven into just about every issue that presents itself. It is basically a fear of living in reality. People will make up their own reality just to avoid dealing with anything that might make them uncomfortable or demand some sort of effort to overcome. I think we can attribute this in part to a shift in the state of the world. For thousands of years, the biggest issue people had to deal with, was scarcity. Most people were poor and even the rich had to deal with a lot of things that technology hadn't been able to conquer yet. Over the past century or so, I think there has been a shift. We spent centuries learning how to deal with that scarcity and now the shift has been trying to deal with abundance. It requires a different mindset and we don't have a lot of practice at it. Everyday technology continues to outpace our societal level of maturity and that seems to be where the problem lies. We are born into abundance and with it comes a sense of entitlement and a total inability to deal with hardship and challenges.

Woah... I've never thought that before... but it makes sense. I agree with you, the lack of knowledge of how to balance an abundant life makes us weak. Also, with that feeling of entitlement, people refuse to acknowledge their mistakes or more importantly, their responsibilities...

This is exactly what I thought, but you put it into words so much better. That's why reasoning with these people always leads to someone storming out or getting angry. It's not based in a factual argument, it's an emotional one. At the end of the day, they have no reasonable starting point to work back to, since their starting point is "I don't want to hear there's something wrong with me". They then find fringe exceptions to try to rationalise their argument post hoc. And we are all expected to automatically understand this and play along, collectively deciding to ignore reality to spare some feelings.

I agree. I think my generation and younger are learning that instead of dealing with their problems or mistakes that they can hack them away and not have to deal with them. But what that does is turn us into someone who can't handle or cope with things that are out of our control. And we've all seen adults who are not able to cope, they can act like absolute monsters who will never find peace.

If you see a man, and you say "she" to make him feel better, you are outright LYING. Lying to someone isn't love. Lying to someone is HATE. I appreciate your fair review here, but I hope you will consider instead referring to people by their names instead of their opposite-gender pronouns (or "they/them.")

That's been my go-to when dealing with said individuals at work and such. "How's about a name, will that work?" Seems to. This whole separation of Sex and Gender, in my opinion, has pedophilic roots. There was a time when we called these individuals Transexuals. We know Sex has more than one definition, one of which is more lewd than scientific... telling a parent their ten-year-old is transexual sounds more questionable than saying they're transgender. And so, a split in meanings of the words was needed, never mind that they're still the same thing. How can you transition your gender from male to female (or vice versa) if female is no longer a gender but only a sex? This ideology is being rebranded as a gender spectrum issue when that's not what it is. Gender isn't a spectrum; our lifestyle choices are. How we're influenced, the things we like, how we choose to express ourselves... transitioning is a choice. A lifestyle choice. It's when the lifestyle choices infect kids and babies that it becomes pedophilic... calling one's baby a "they" instead of a boy or girl is still making a "gender"-based decision for the child if, in that niche, nonbinary is its own gender.

I remember I was really freaking out when I first started getting my breasts. In fact I was freaking out about every aspect of my newly developing puberty because it started very early for me. It began when I was 9 yrs old and I wasn't ready for any of it, I wasn't done with being a kid and with not thinking of myself in terms of gender, just enjoying kid stuff. Then suddenly I had to deal with having a period every month and was told I should be mindful and careful how I move so that my pad doesn't leak. I had to wear a bra which felt restrictive like a harness and all I wanted to do was play and run around and climb things. On the day I got my first period at 9 yrs old, my mother told me "you're a woman now" and hearing that gave me great anxiety and sadness because I didn't feel like a woman at all. I didn't feel like a boy or a man either. I just felt like the kid I was and wasn't ready to think of myself as anything more than that. I hated having breasts and was hoping they would stop growing but they grew at the speed of light, I needed bigger cups in the matter of weeks. They were growing far more quickly than I was getting used to their new size. You could say I was uncomfortable with almost every aspect that made me a female. Because with being a female now came all those restrictions that my mother was telling me would now be with me for the rest of my life. And those restrictions definitely weren't reflecting who I was - a kid. If my parents had taken me to one of those gender affirming doctors or whatever they are called, they probably would have made the judgement that I was trans and that it would be adviseable to start hormonal suppressants and to get rid of the breasts I was so uncomfortable with. But guess what. I'm not trans. Right now as an adult I'm so happy with being a woman and with the body that I have. I still find that my breasts are way too big for my preference, they give me back pain, they make it harder to find properly fitting clothes but that doesn't mean I would've been happy to cut them off completely and become a man. I'm so happy I grew up at a time when changing a young teen or preteen's gender wasn't an easily available option because I probably would have been living with terrible regrets right now.

I think that almost every child ever has questioned their sexuality and identity to some degree during puberty, which in my opinion is entirely normal because when you're that age, you have almost no concept of sexuality, or what it means to be a man or a woman, or the manner in which you will express your masculinity or femininity. The fact that people are preying on kids this age, when their self-concept is at its most vulnerable, and using it to confuse and abuse them, is just criminal.

But in this video, when she was talking about puberty and it not being reversible. I totally agree with her comment. You can't stunt someone's growth, a natural biological phase we all go through (and for a reason), and expect it to be reversible. That's just insane how they think they can play God.
@Invertedworldx
@Invertedworldx 2 жыл бұрын
@houstonrebel Exactly!! It's very sad the depths this really goes especially when we're talking about the mechanism of how physical being function on a microscopic hormonal level. You can not reverse hormones puberty blockers especially during the pubescent stage of life that's to prime you for a healthy adulthood. Currently right now most of society it's fked up because of environmental artificial hormones mimickers and subsequently one reason cancer is never going away, sperm counts are down, breast cancer, uterine cancer, testicular cancer, thyroid cancer, the lists are endless when you mess with hormones. You have to ethier be clinical retarded to not understand the basic fabric of how we physical being work or so removed from any reality and completely diabolical in knowing how truly destructive it really is. I think it's the diabolical notion. Now your last part of your comment is 1000% where we're at. "They are playing god" and this term playing god isn't just in this domain for gender, it's more multifaceted in so many other layers of our modern inverted world..

This week has really made me insane, but this video... not only am I shocked that KZfaq put it on my homepage, but I'm not even halfway through your review yet and I am so mentally refreshed to hear common sense opinions from someone so much younger than myself... it's just made my day better, honestly. So a big "thank you" from a newly subscribed viewer.

The main issue is the level of entitlement from the so-called 'marginalised group'. The pronoun usage is only scratching the surface, using 'she/her' isn't enough for some. _'Trans men/women are real men/women...!'_ is their message and even with the most respect, to even declare an opinion which differs makes one a transphobe. The professor asks _"Why do you even care...?"_ Simple. Women are systematically driven out of women's sports, women cannot have private spaces for themselves. This 'marginalised group' fail to see anyone else's view and that's just plain selfish!

Lesbians are transphobic how if they say that girldick isn't a word. I was banned from reddit for that. Reddit is a cesspool and that wasn't my first "transphobic" offense, but saying that being attracted to women means .... being attracted to females ... is somehow a hate crime. Trans gets special privileges, so that you're not allowed to be gay anymore. I've accepted that until this insanity is over, I'm probably gonna be single. I won't give into the ideology and mouth platitudes to fit into the larger glbt community. Realizing every day I'm kinda conservative. :/

Women's sports is not threatened by trans women. The wikipedia page on the matter doesn't even show many notable names, let alone more than a singular victory. Most of those notable names couldn't even compete, either unable to lift their whole set of weights, or losing in the first round. As for the marginalization, I highly suggest you look up the atrocities done against trans people and the general toxicity when people are just "tolerating" trans people.

@@VelaiciaCreator I have watched several segments on the trans issue in sports, including listening to experts, who mentioned there is a quite an advantage in certain areas, long distance track running for instance vs 100m dash (if I include links this msg may be deleted) Martina Navratilova on Sky News stated her coach, former trans tennis player Renée Richards told her looking back she should not have been allowed to compete with women, and this is from a trans person. Lia Thomas for example was ranked in the 400s competing as a male, yet has managed to create significant leads relative to the competition (just imagine a higher ranked male to trans woman) MMA fighter Fallon Fox, who apparently is an average fighter in terms of technique has the power to dominate. Again, imagine the muscle memory and the advantages in puberty a former top 10 male transitioning would have. As for toxicity, trans allies are some of the most intolerants group I've ever witnessed, bullying, intimidation with no room for debate, the agenda of 'gender' seems to be conflated with sex somehow (so if a woman doesn't feel comfortable sharing a private space with a trans person not gone through bottom surgery, she's automatically a bigot, a transphobe and the usual rhetoric, just noise without saying anything. Matt Walsh asks the question _"What is a woman...?"_ he's bigoted, searching for the truth is transphobic. Everybody has to play 'political word gymnastics' or risk cancellation, 10 years ago the answer would simply be 'Adult Human Female', now it's 'I have a right to...' and one has to be a biologist Really? I genuinely believe the trans community (as a group) really needs to look at their actions, stop yelling 'BIGOT' at every turn, life is hard and people want to just get on with things, but people feel the need to speak up and say _"No, this is wrong to force ideologies..."_

@@dannyr2976 Lia Thomas has been beaten several times by cis women and at least once by a pre-transition trans man. HRT as regulated in athleticism is far more unforgiving than you believe, and so are the effects of HRT on the body(via genetic expression as dictated by hormonal cocktail). The toxicity from trans people you face are a mix of those so hurt by others that they have vowed to never let people be in a position to hurt them again. They have personally been through hell and have decided to put others through hell if they so much as twitch in the direction of their abusers. They often whip up a bunch of allies into a frenzy and soon you get the human instinct of sticking to the pack. This is a thing I have seen conservatives do as well mind you.

@@VelaiciaCreator Had mentioned Lia was a low ranking male as William (some have also speculated Lia had purposely slowed the pace within certain comps, but that's just speculation) imagine a male in his prime, Bruce Jenner for example with the advantage of puberty. Cannot see why there cannot be trans categories to compete in (rushed decisions for an agenda, we need to find a solution to benefit all) as listening to girls in sport feel there's no point is just heartbreaking. As for the toxic trans allies (and some trans people) if what you say is true, that would be an incredibly lame excuse, as some of these attacks are on the innocent (masked group of thugs terrorising a women who dared to express her view [crying] she didn't want to see a penis in her changing space) then to abuse her by saying _"I don't care, bitch...!"_ not nice, there was no reason to do that, a group of cowardly thugs picking on somebody vulnerable. How does a group become so damn selfish? (not saying all trans people at all, but this does include a few KZfaqrs) The trans community aren't doing themselves any favours with such extreme behaviours, and those such as the trans activist/trans woman Debbie Hayton I feel are on damage control by calling out the bullsh*t and isn't afraid to speak out. Hayton has been labelled as been labelled as a target of hate herself, which is unfortunate.
