Thank you for giving information and context for the subject of fairies and folklore. It is always important to know the context of the beliefs and information you get, regardless of rather or not you are incorporating it into your spiritual beliefs, write a fantasy book about it, write an academic paper about it or even if you want to make up your own version of this belief for a story you write or a game you make. Misinformation is too common in the internet age and we need to be mindful for where the information we get came trom.

Definitely found it helpful, thanks. Preferred opinion on how individuals (who sometimes represent belief systems and alter what was truth to something else) seems to be growing more these days. Perhaps because of modern media/culture there is a push back on what is fact and what was considered written down as truth. There used to be a valueble thing called educated opinion... now sadly it's just opinion.

I know this is probably rude, but could you talk about the Fae and dreams in a future video? Or if you have covered it somewhat in a previous video?

Genuine question I have been struggling with in my own fairy research. Apologies if this comment is long, but this topic has been alluding me for some time. I have been trying to do research on the known or named fairy queens and kings of Ireland. And for the most part I've been very successful in what I've discovered (Munster has so many, oh my gods, they must be fighting constantly). But I have, for the most part, been unable to find anything relating to the kings and queens of Ulster and northern Ireland. Macha has of course come up multiple times, but I'm not sure if it can be said she was a fairy queen. Certainly a fairy maiden, especially when she marries that one random dude before the footrace and cursing the men of Ulster, but I'm not sure she can be called a fairy queen in that moment. Of course I could be wrong. And as for fairy kings, the best I could find was Iubhdán in the story of "The Journey of the people of Luachair and the death of Fergus mac Léti." Though Iubhdán is not necessarily described as THE fairy king of Ulster, merely a fairy king within Ulster. Which I suppose is more than acceptable it just feels somewhat lacking. (Side note, as you're expertly versed in old Irish, I would appreciate another spot of insight on the word "Luachair" if you have any. Some places translate this as story name as the "Journey of the Tuatha Luchra...", the little people or the tribe of the dwarfs. But Luchra/Luachair doesn't seem to me dwarf but rather radiant??? So it sounds more like the Radiant People rather than the Little People. I'm not even sure in most stories if the si were diminutive in size, or if there are any 'dwarfs' as it were. But you would know more than me.) If you have any further information to provide on the topic of Ulster fairy kings and queens, I would greatly appreciate the insight. Thank you so much and have a lovely day.

I believe it's a form of Luchorpan, as the story is generally understood as Fergus and the Leprechauns. Their queen is Bébo. There is also a reference to Aoife as the fairy queen of the north. Otherwise we don't have much recorded for named kings or queens there afaik

Thanks for the video. You know to be perfectly honest. I cannot stand when people take elements from different cultures or religions then create some new thing to suit their own needs or fake beliefs just to make themselves feel better. What's even worse is when they try to pass it off as semi old or even ancient. It's almost sad & pathetic also insulting to the people & the cultures. I tell people there's nothing wrong with liking different things just be respectful & own up to it when people ask you about it.
