If you are really into 4K and have a good TV (Sony 800 & up, Samsung Q70 & up, LG 8000 Series to OLED) it should up scale. I DO want the HDR, but it really isn't a deal breaking when you factor in the catalogue.

I already got the $11.99 deal for 1 year HBO MAX it's like the perfect most complete streaming service right now with all HBO and WB content and this is only the first day

@@dwp1slyfox I don't care much for streaming in 4k it's all compressed and the difference not really big for my 50in TV, I had Netflix 4k plan and I switched back to normal nothing can beats 4K Blu-rays, I'm pretty sure in time they'll upscale some of the old shows and the new one will be in 4k

Last week "HBO Now" worked to stream from my Lonovo Android tablet to Chromecast. Now it says "HBO Max." My current provider is unsupported. My provider being Spectrum. Looks like it's back to the Pirate Bay for me!

I have HBO as an add on to my Hulu account. HBO MAX through Hulu doesn't seem to be the same as using the HBO MAX app. There is missing content. I downloaded the app on my Apple TV and signed in with my Hulu account. I now have a fully functional app.

I'm paying $15 for HBO through KZfaq Tv , I have not clue if it's ( the GO or NOW version ). Now I just notice that I have The HBO MAX promo app on my P75X Vizio Tv ( smartcast ) and it's asking if I want to subscribe. I'm scare to do so because I don't know if I'll be paying extra by subscribing or the HBO I'm paying for right through KZfaq Tv is the same one as HBO Max. I'm so so confused. That's the only downside I see for now: their shit launch. Otherwise they have more content than all others other than Netflix, which has a ton of bleh content. If they release some good originals in addition to HBO not going downhill then it should match or beat netflix imo

I have HBO Now through Roku and I've decided I will cancel my subscription a day before payments due and subscribe to HBO Max. If you have a smart TV you can still subscribe to HBO Max or you can add it in KZfaq TV

Well...I pre ordered to get the cheaper rate only to find out it doesn't work on my tcl roku tv! Im regretting the tcl roku tv purchase. I didnt know tcl roku tv had a long standing problem of soundbar sink issues. And now they cant even stream new services. Ugh...........

I get HBOMax for free since it is part of my AT&T phone bill. The site layout is horrible and needs an update already. Also when searching they are missing a lot of desired stuff at launch. They could have used Disney+ as an example as to how to make a great site, even though it has a few flaws as well.

There is absolutely no 4K content. For it being the last streaming service up , most expensive in general , but zero 4K hdr content. I think it’s weak. Variety good , but who wants to watch in standard hd in 2020

On HBO Max, Sesame Street was mistaken as a Warner Bros. show. I don't think Warner Bros. will acquire the rights to Sesame Street from Sesame Workshop, not even next year.

Sincerely, HBO was alright being alone. Most of the new content of Max is focused in lovers of animation, which I don't see very compatible with TBS, TNT and WB stuff either. And based on the price, why should I have to pay for 1 single streaming service, when I could own 3, 4 or even 5 of them with the same amount of money?

I’m in the UK 🇬🇧 and I think hbo max be a while for us to get it as many hbo shows gets shown on Sky . Maybe once the contracts for the shows and films expire then hbo max can be a thing in the UK 🇬🇧. Seems pricey but will wait if it comes to uk 🇬🇧

You made an error. I subscribe to HBO through Comcast/Xfinity and I do NOT have access to HBOMAX. I would have to subscribe to MAX separately, which is bullshit.
