Hello there....i am thinking of applying as kinesiology major for batchelor degree and i really want to know if it can help me get into PT school later ....i just would love to talk to someone who is already learning in the field so if i am not asking too much can you please share some experience about the field....thanks in advance

Hello! I was wondering about something I’m a Pre-allied health major at Citrus college. I’m interested becoming either a PTA or PT, but not sure which one yet. Do I need to change my major to Kinesiology in order to become PT or PTA?

I'm not sure about PTA, but for DPT school you usually just need a Bachelor's degree of any kind, and you need to fulfill the observation hour requirements, prerequisite classes etc.

Hello to you! In order to become a PT, you can choose to be any major that you want. It is preferred that you choose a science major or a exercise science related major because it is easier, but you are more than welcome to choose any major. When it comes to PTA school, you will not be required to have a bachelors degree, but it does help you stand out in your application
