I resonate with your sentiments, but destruction of culture is inevitable. The more you hold on to culture, the further behind you fall and either become obsolete or become vulnerable and wiped out. This is the same for any culture around the world throughout history. Even before Marathis there were other native indigenous cultures.. and before them there were some other. Today it is Marathi culture on top, tomorrow it won't be. We cannot escape it. Embrace change and evolve with time.

The issue is you have to develop the Ghat portion and integrate such that it doesn't slow down. Also these cities themselves are so huge and congested it all depends which corner of Mumbai you trying to link with which corner of Pune. The far side of Pune is linked with other Maharashtra cities and north west of mumbai is linked towards Surat. It's complicated. India is not like Europe or China or US. It's lot more organically built. Coming from a guy who travelled between Pune and Mumbai almost every week for 4 years.

@@Billu..Don..5I'm from raigad and I think he is right ! Smaller states makes CM adminstration more efficient in India we need more states like 75 states ! Instead of just 28 ! It makes really hard to keep eye on all ! And there also money and power factor ! Bigger states tend to do dadagiri with centre govt. They do not listen bcz they also have big fat budget and money and people's behind them so they whatever they do center sometimes get helpless ! For example mamta didi she doing whatever tf she want man !
