ive tuned my suspension all by myself using all the tips i have learned in your videos. About to break in my first set of brand new tires, hoping i can get a long life out of them using all the knowledge i have gained. You're the best!

I am not new to riding bikes but I am new to the science of tyre pressures and tyre wear in combination with damping and spring rates/perload. There is quite a lot to learn but I have followed basic lines and improved things to such an extent that I am enjoying the ride a lot more than I thought possible. Even on my Dinosaurs (Harleys) things are improving to such an extent that I now realise that the investments I made with shocks, emulators and custom fork springs were better value for money than I could ever have guessed - I had the right toys to play with but didn't know how to play with them. Thanks very much guys - this old dog is learning new tricks.......

Truly amazing ! I've worked with Dunlop manufacturing techs who never came across to have such in depth knowledge. They probably kill me for saying this, but I've got to be honest ...I'm blow away . Great video and Dave has a great deal of knowledge about set up!!!!!! I'm not a track rider, but do ride sportingly most weekends with my good riding friend. We average at least 90-100 miles on the average weekend, if not more. We live in Central CA about 5 miles from the beginning of the Sierra Mountains. So roads are mountainous, but their are flat areas as well. We also ride the back roads to the coast of CA. A ride can take us from 300 ft to 6000 feet during the course of our rides. Some sharp turns some more flowing, speed, turns and of course some relatively straight areas. But we pick the roads that have lots of turns! A lot of up and down hills. My question would be, would this kind of Remote Tuning be advantageous to our type of riding? I have a 2011 Suzuki GSX 1250 FA with about 35,000 miles on it. My friend has a 2 year old BMW 1000 with all the electronic suspension settings. My bike, I purchased from my friend a couple years ago. He'd just completed several modifications that were recommended from Hole Shot Performance, changes inside the front forks and an added fork brace just above the front finder. These were set to my friends height and weight, who is about 4-5 inches shorter and about 40 lbs lighter. I'm 6 ft and about 210. Also the addition of an electric chip that smooths out the engine via the Injectors. Nothing new at the rear of the bike, other than a Hole Shot Performance muffler specific for this bike. Rear shock is still standard. Front forks are the old style and are not inverted. What do you think?

Greetings from wet Scotland ! Would you expect similar kinds of wear with say Pirelli slicks compared to Dunlop or are the differences in carcasses more complex in how you set the suspension ? Interesting to see that the final session feel was better as you were more comfortable.

I’m fascinated by your ability to tune a bike just by seeing it’s tyre wear👍🏼 Would it make sense to book your remote coaching even if i just started riding on racetracks? Or should i get some track-experience first? So that i can tell a difference 😅

Hmmm, as someone who has ridden that track quite a bit there is a lot of loading on the left side - turns 1,3,4,5, 19,21 are all high loading turns far more (collectively) than the rights 6 and 22

Hello Dave. Can you please give your opinion to Simon Crafar comment in new video "motogp tyres". He said that temperature in tyres rise when tyre have more pressure, because smaler contact pach brings more temperature to tire.

What if the change of preload make the sag out of range? Would it be possible?

What if on the street your bottoming out but when you increase preload the bike then doesnt have the correct sag or is there a compromise for street

I can read the shoe sole of a woman to see what is wrong with her! if it looks like a stressed tire then following this advice can help you: 1.) add 2 clicks of understanding 2.) remove 3 clicks of aggression 3.) add one turn of a love song, dancing and moving clockwise 4.) don't use zip ties to see if she is stressed till the bottom 5.) breath slowly, avoiding too much pressure causing cold tears in her eyes And if the shoe sole doesn't heal after this set-up - ride a new woman :)
