I feel like this series could be interesting if you used these calculations to find the absolute strongest of specific attacks like the strongest jab or the strongest down smash. Just an idea.

If we really want to see this in action, someone should mod the game and flip the home run arena on it's side and see how high it really goes. You can even see how many km you flew with the signs being there

Thank you so much for making this. I commented about this idea once on another video and I honestly became giddy when I got to watch it. My lord I wasn't ready to see Kirby take 72% from being offscreen.

Fun fact, if you jump right before the bunny hood item wore off, the jump will be even higher than before, so if you use the last jump right before the bunny hood wore off, Kirby will go even higher, but since your using the bunny hood MODE and not the ITEM, then that mean the hood won't wear off

Theoretically if you go on the story mode you get one more jump for one of the skills and I wouldn’t be surprised if you can get one to increase jump height as well

If you weren't already doing it, that spirit configuration makes short hops go higher than full hops. I use that spirit with dk to cheese my friends and for some reason short hops go higher

I think the best way to figure out how high he goes would be to calculate how fast Kirby falls and also calculate his falling speed. So when you see his falling animation start in the little bubble that indicates you time him, multiply the speed at which he falls by the time it takes for him to reach the ground and you’ll get the distance he traveled. I’m no expert, but from what I’ve heard, using lightweight spirits + jumó spirits actually achieves higher jumps since stacking multiple of the same kinds of spirits reduces the effect to avoid broken combinations

You could definitely do this trick with Luigi where you have two Luigis using their Up Specials on top of each other, making them reach the very top of the area

nice vid! but when you have such a high jump stat from boosts, your short hop actually goes higher than the full hop because of how they scale. (well, at least from spirits, so i dont see how all the other boosts wouldnt)

if you combine screw attack with bunny hood, you'll get a considerable boost in jump height. also apparently 'lightweight' spirits increase jump height more than 'jump up' spirits. weird, I know.

With proper timing, Megaman can fly infinitely on metal heavy custom smash. He falls fast enough to bounce off Rush again in midair, and can constantly do so to gain height slowly

Fun Fact: I did this around a year ago and found out that kirby can go so high to where the icon that indicates were he is will stop deleting past frames. (when a game looks like spageti)

If you have the first jump happen rigt when a screw attack item runs out, you get a big one time jump boost. Not surr if that stacks with everything else tho :/

I calculated how high kirby jumped based of how long it takes for him to fall back and its roughly 914 meters ( ~3000 feet for those on burger land) this is around taller than the tallest skyscraper in the world witch is 828 meters tall and has 188 stories

Missed opportunity to see Kirby fall back down as a stone

Hey, I found a glitch that can make him jump A LOT higher. When screw attack is paired with bunny hood, do an input short-hop attack (X+A), and for some reason, it cancels they screw attack and lets whoever does it jump EXTREMELY high.

Gotta use Giant Smash with a grow mushroom for some extra height, I'm not sure if the screw attack would make a difference, I'll try it out
