I have a 32Hz tuned ported enclosure and a Fi Neo 3.5 twelve inch subwoofer and the sound quality is amazing. I’d take ported over sealed or bandpass anyday.

What you want is an X box, which alligns the front and rear wave to exit the front port at the same time. If you really want to be impressed, find the Matterhorn from Danley Labs. Folded horn for the military 😊

I have two B2 Audio Rampage 8s in a custom enclosure built to their specs tuned at 33Hz and its the best sounding sub setup Ive owned for SQ.

With alot of experience with the different types of custom boxes. Mainly ported..... also knowing legitimate custom box builders, it's no reason for a custom box unless you are competing, want to show the box off etc There are quality prefab boxes out there that are built by former box builders.... put it like this, I have a $170 prefab box well built, tuned right etc and I know people with $700-$1000 custom box and they sounded no different than my box, which sounds amazing...

Prefab can t go lower sometimes, I have songs who play bass frequencies around 32hz pre fab box will sound very bad and no volume but for rock or pop maybe fine but for rap custom sub box is the way to go a litle bit larger

On a 6th if bottom is 10 and top is 20 that’s a 1 to 2 ratio ? If it was a 1 to 3 the top would be 30. And the best 6th series you tune bottom say 25hz tge low chamber and top chamber 50hz .the high chamber. I love 6th order series.

what type of box would you recommend for 89 Jeep Wrangler with soft top or no top at times for lowest deep bass?? Not Ridiculous but Realistic Bass as if it had a Hartop... preferably single 12" but would appreciate any opinions.. 10s , 12s' Sealed or ported??? Front fire, Down, Up, Back???

I don t know for hard top but for cabrio car there are no bass, no output the car is like enclosure and different cara sound different with top open, somebody tell me absolutly no bass he was having a vw jetta cabrio, but with top closed of course there is bass

i have a f350 crewcab 8 foot bed i have all the equipment wood everything,even the 1.5inch thick plexiglass i found in back of a convince store getting remodeled 😂😂😂😂🤑 this will be used for the top of my blow thru . Im in the middle of designing a blow thru for 3 13w7s i have alot of options because i hoard jl equipment 😂 so my genre of music varies thru everything mostly rap/alt rock .i guess my question is your opinion on different size subs because of the variety of music i noticed you added the front sub with the rest but ive always heard people say dont mix sub sizes ... ive been contemplating on what subs to put were i def want to build a blow thru and center console im leaning towards the 3 13w7 in the blow thru as opposed to 6 -12w6v1 and for my center console i could use 3 of the 6-12w6s or i have a 12w7 also a 10w7.... not to mention i have 4 8w1s i think or 8w0s and 2-6w0 or 1s

I do not have my 4 12's and my single front 8 playing the same frequencies. right now the 12s are cut off at 60hz 24bd roll off, and my 8 is playing 24db 60hz to 100hz 24db all linkwitz. that said, you CAN overlap them, the trick is time alignment, possibly phase flipping, and possibly EQing the channels to smooth out any peaks. its a bit of work, but the results are scary good when you get it dialed in! Sounds like a sick build btw!
