If you are referring to a valid source(scholar) and not just any Arab or person who thinks they have mastered Hadith ,(and while also confessing that no scholar knows everything or that you might have misunderstood them)then I think you are fine inshallah to spread it, mentioning it as ""that scholar's understanding"" of the ayah or hadith. Also if there is a debate between scholars about the understanding of a verse or hadith don't just pick the opinion you prefer but pick the one whose evidence convinces you the most. Also I am just a common Muslim and this is what I learned so do not take my words as necessarily the truth

I think this is dangerous too because even then you could be cherrypicking. There are scholars who disagree with the main interpretation for example, and you could quote that on purpose or not on purpose
