Specialist is also good because of strikes rangers knockout and other useful stuff maybe thats why spec and assault have the same percentage

As a recon main i can say that yes most of newbies use scout and yes recon are rare to see.

Recon can be used for chewing down bosses with armour peeler dealing 200dmg per shot for 0,5 ammo

Well not only that stock sniper can quickscope and armor peeler is more made for bosses and armored units

as a recon main and a former medic main recon is underrated, gift of fire is the stuff, easy boss clear, just don't get jet packed and have a skills issue, use the jet pack with recon for safety medic is easy, just get good with bow arc ngl and start carrying teams, get a sniper for range attacks or if u can't aim with bow get a jet pack ig, medic is easy kit and should be the starter bc of its learning curve recon for grinding, scout is good and all but is not smth i will play to get good at the game medic is team play and using it solo is a crime against humanity i refuse to talk about spec and assault because those are hard engi is ok, just use throw turrets and hide

Recon is niche, sitting still with a scope leaves you vulnerable and takes too much skill/ is unfun for most. Medic is a necessity for any team, alongside being easy to use for those with the Skill Issue, AND gets you a surprising amount of xp. It’s also perfect for pscyhopaths who enjoy reviving someone with a shielder, cloaker, APU, or boss in their faces, trapping them and the enemy in a loop of the unfortunate player’s endless slaughter. Engi and scout are both fun and easy to use in their own seperate ways, making them solid picks for those learning the ropes. Specialist is also niche, but more fun and versatile than Recon, being a better pick for anything but picking off targets. Assault is fun and based for those who know how to use it, with 150HP allowing you to do stupid shit like getting in a shielder’s face and smack it with a melee. Also, Overcharger+Harpoon Gun, what is arguably the most fun and broken combo in the game, is INTENDED for this kit, making it an easy pick. Also the other variations are no-brainer picks too, Bolter being a solid AR and the Rallying Cry bolstering your already high HP *passively* , ALONGSIDE having a strong team support ability(that no one uses properly) Oh yeah, and I guess the grenade launcher is there too, I personally like using the Overcharger instead of the something something Device for crowd control, and the Parabolic Hydra just isn’t the same after the changes on how projectiles work, it isn’t as satisfying or reliable, nothing could replace the joy of 2-shotting a platform by splitting the projectiles just as they are about to impact, causing the cluster to spawn *in* the enemy and obliterate it. I just trash the GL and get a Shockwave Device for that sweet sweet hitscan AT. Can you tell I’m an Assault main?

When it comes to recon, it seems like you have some skill issue using it. After learning it for a bit and getting used to it, it becomes very fun and quite op. I used to be a recon main (now i main medic) and I can tell you, it does not NOT make you vulnerable IF you use it right.

@@breperr4576 Of course, it has its moments, I’ll admit I’ve only played briefly, but it seems to be fun in its own way, although my preference still lays with the other classes. It has a lack of survivability on its own, though, and needs unreliable set up in order to have a chance at a last stand, whereas the other classes have it innately. I’m not going to pretend I didn’t see a guy solo wave 8 by lining up sick AP line-up shots from the edge of the map, but I’ve seen much more die from tunnel vision. Also, “does not NOT” means that it does make you vulnerable, pretty sure you meant to say otherwise “ı wİn nerd emoji nerd emoji nerd emoji”, or something, I dunno, but I suppose you can still snipe and have awareness, even with the Armor Peeler. Although, the fact that it is unappealing to most players rings true, which is what I was mainly trying to convey. It takes too much work, for too little reward, while dopamine factories like the Aerorig or Overcharger exist and are more fun to learn than sitting still clicking on heads and getting cloakered and sabo’d. Long story short, Recon is a good class, just like all others, but just is more niche and thus less popular, which I seem to have failed to convey, hope this cleared things up.

@@Internet_No_Body i accidently said not twice, so yes, i did mean you arent that vulnerable as a recon. Recon mostly only shines on the later waves. On the early waves, yes it is boring af and is not good for most playstyles. Its kind of a tryhard kit. So yes it sint fun for most people and i recognize that.

I mostly use GL to multi task, If there are more than usual amount of infantries i will use it, If there are shielders infornt of the squadron of Infantries im fighting then ill use it, GL is very useful till wave 6 IMO, Parabolic hydra just makes the multitasking faster, Bolter and rallying cry is also good combine with PH, I usual put a Term vel in there too but gotta say GL is underrated and also the fact that you can solo dae with it since Direct dmg is 200, dont get me wrong its useless when fighting late game units still you should use it
