It's certainly no accident that I listened to this talk tonight while working in my studio. I actually "lived" in a virtual world for 13 years, hiding from the reality of my life - last November I began to feel something that I could not put words to, but I knew deep within I needed to leave that world. A few months later I began to close all my social media accounts, one by one, and 4 weeks ago I stopped the "news" from entering into my conscious space - not on TV, the radio, or the internet. Presently, I only use KZfaq to listen to talks from other artists and speakers like you. I am happier, more productive, and more in touch with the Universe and my own spirit than I have ever been before. I am no longer agitated, angry or depressed all the time. I no longer feel alone. I am a 66-year-old artist and I know whatever time I have left on this plane is very real and oh so very precious. Thank you so much, Caroline.

Sidenote, Caroline if you have not read Ursula’s book “Wizard of Earthsea”… the first book I read in high school and just bought again online several months ago and reread… there is a passage of the balance of magic 👌🏻 And the theme of the story is facing the shadow… a theme I didn’t realise when read as a teenager. Powerful stuff.

" . . .they opened up "the Feminine Principle . . ." so this is the profound insight in this video, IMHO, Anyone who is interested can look up "the feminine principle" or variations on that theme in Hinduism and also Tibetan Buddhism. She and I are the same age and I can tell you I really did not get this truth back in the '60's when the youth was first exposed to Eastern thought, but now I see this in the rear view and the profound, if subtle, impact it had on Western cutting edge thought.

This is interesting. I got myself off anti depressants in 2001. By meditating daily and reading religious texts. I realised at various stages I have been going through a spiritual initiation. I also realised many people don't make it. It's been very difficult to negotiate without a spiritual guide. But I have come to many of the insights mentioned in this talk. Patriarchy is another deconstruction occurring.

This was SO powerful, I could listen all day to this information! Her take on depression is fabulous! I never thought if this. I wish Caroline were my real spiritual director and I could talk to before I die. I’m not far from her, but I haven’t been able to travel. I would ask her what happened that I’ve never felt well since I was as a child, but was able to have a teaching career, have two children, and was content, until I insanely got breast implants in (that doctors still claim are perfectly safe!) 20 years ago. I’m 68, and I’ve been chronically sick since then. I’m curious as to why I lost everything and everyone, and about the fact that when I moved to the condo of my dreams, it had mold, adding to my illnesses by spurring on autoimmune after autoimmune, creating infections, chronic pain, and the need for 4 major surges in 10 months. My dreams turned to nightmares. I have now been the caretaker of my 36 year-old son for over 2 years, who developed mold toxicity, and we both have Lyme. He also has long Covid and is in chronic horrible pain all day. I am feeding him, giving him his meds, while I have a broken shoulder, because his father hasn’t remediated his house and works at age 71. So, the fact that my life has been stifled is a mystery to me. I obviously had to learn something! Lol! 🙏💕💫

You mention Angels and God. The idea of a dark force working against humanity in all cultures. Well sure it's better, but money, travel, time conflicts....perhaps we can't do it perfectly, but sometimes 'good' is 'perfect' enough...as to wait till we can do it 'perfect' - just won't happen for so so very many folks. Can't feel guilty anymore about one-more-thing that's not 'perfectly done' by another who defines what perfect and imperfect are ....I have lived in the desert of guilt too long. Guess I have a choice to watch virtually or not watch at all. Why do You Tube at all if not to reach out to those who cannot attend in person? I'm confused.

Not true. I would not choose the unseen. Heaven is on earth in the physical. Our bodies and what can be seen and touched is paramount. Relationships in the non physical suck and are not fulfilling at all. You wake up from the dream world and feel empty.
