Had a friend that was going to go to japan for the f1 and then to Singapore right after, then Covid hit and i had to listen to her rants on quarantine in he 9 bedroom 7 bathroom 3 story house with 4 people and how unfair it was. I was living in a 3 bed 2 bathroom house with 4 people and seriously thought she was talking out of her ass, she was not a social person and to this day sits at home and does nothing as her mom spends her trustfund like it doesnt have a limit. So glad im not friends with her anymore the entitlement was of the chart. This coming from a person who has been on both sides of the poverty and wealthy line. Again so greatfull my family isnt that rich anymore life with that much money is not worth believe me.

I might be guilty of the water thingy, because i do feel genuinely unwell if i drink our tapwater. It does not matter if i send it through a filter or two, boil it, add enough carbonic acid to make it bubble worse than water at above 100°C temps. Add all sorts of other things to it. I will feel very unwell, the kind like you know you just ate something off and while nothing is cramping yet you do feel a little nauseous and your stomach feels off. So yes, i am kinda forced to drink bottled water which sort of makes me not guilty but ... i dunno ... i am still kinda guilty of the "I am allergic to our tapwater" deal. Notably: Other place's tapwater is fine and i do enjoy the varriation. Icelands tapwater has a slight sulfuric taste to it, kinda like a low-key cooked eggyolk deal. Its also literally mineral water so its healthy at that. Paderborn's Tapwater is also very rich in minerals, being a town literally build on the springs of the Pader River, which is where the name comes from. Zurich's tapwater has a slight rocky taste to it, its refreshing and clean, plus as its Switzerland they have drinking fountains everywhere which have even cleaner water. Its honestly amazing. Its almost like lemon water but there isnt lemon. I can 1000% recomend drinking the water there, if you ever decide to go there. Italy's tapwater i do not recomend, i got food poisoning from it. Though i still didnt feel as unwell as i do from my local one. And ours is supposed to be "crystal clear" and "very clean" which to me sounds like a lie as the water is effectively a snowglobe of tiny specks of Limestone, ie. the water is so hard it has actual visible particulate in it.

Well... to be fair, different water tastes different, so if they're rich enough to drink luxury water, then by all means. The French water only one is a bit much though

Story 1 - EEEEEEH I can understand why the lady was freaked

I'm not sure my cousins family is "rich" but clearly they have a lot of fucking money. Large house. Multiple vacations every year. Only been working part time for years and still loaded. Anyway, my cousin when she was probably 14, give or take, had the brand new iPhone. I was/am 3 years older than her and didn't even have a smartphone yet. She had had this phone for 2-3 weeks, had a case on it, somehow got a tiny scratch on the back of the phone (not on the screen, and covered by the case) and she wanted a brand new replacement. The phone was $1200-$1600. Her parents bought her a brand new replacement. WTF.

Watching this is making me feel poor. I gotta go lay down for a while.

My family isn't "rich" as every family in the video. I live in kinda rich neighborhood and my family is one of the poorest there. I left my district school to go to a special ed school. (My brother and sister remained in my district). In my school now i am on of the richest. I go on a 12 person vacation every summer with my family, my grandparents, and my aunt and uncle and cousins. Its normally just to another US state. I didn't realize going on vacations even to the next state over was rare. Everyone at my district school are always out of the country on vacations. I didnt realize that being able to buy some stuff for crafts every month was rare.
