I appreciate the things Kristoffer mentioned about non-theistic pagans/Druids like myself. I appreciate the deities as characters in the old stories and I have learned things about myself by reading about many of them.

This was so inspiring and verbalised my feelings on deity in a way that I can’t. Looking forward to future videos!

Coming back from celebrating Beltane at Thornborough Henge to the everyday world has been difficult, but seeing this video has been a real treat! As someone very much interested in the Welsh tradition, your videos have been precious to me.

I was born in America and have ancestors from quite a few countries, but my Welsh family tree from my great grandfather Stephen Day (Dee) is the only one that goes way back to my pagan ancestors. As I read the old Welsh stories, I am finding many of my ancestors are mentioned in these stories. I personally think of Bran, Branwen, Manawydan and Llyr as my family members I am getting to know as Dieties at the same time. I am also learning about the gods who inhabit the land I am living on and somehow trying to make it all work. Pele is also a goddess of the cauldron here on Hawaii. I so much appreciate both of you and wish I could be a part of your rituals in Wales. thank you so much for helping us learn Welsh....Diolch yn fair!!!!

Is there a hard line between Welsh/Irish/Scottish Celtic? I ask in the sense of can I worship a “welsh deity” while also worshipping an “Irish deity” regardless of if they’re sometimes believed to be the same being? I love you guys and can’t wait to read more from you, I’m still fairly ignorant but eager to absorb!

You know, if the foolish thoughts of an Iowen count for anything at all, your devotion alone makes it all excellent... No matter at all what races you call upon!! No matter at all!! It's all absolutely good!!

Very wise opinion on Archetypes. I consider myself an Archetypal Polytheist. And I've been doing a lot of research on the evolution of gods throughout various cultures. The definition of what a god even is is so vague we can't really have a hardline opinion. In order to grow and understand we must allow our understanding to change with us.

Question: Do Welsh deities translate / work well in other cultures? Being in America, I don't have the same connection with the Welsh landscape but I thoroughly love the deities of Wales. Sometimes there is a distance that can be difficult to reconcile but other times I feel a complete connection.

I’m currently working on a video delving into this very topic as it’s a question I get fairly often! So stay tuned for that. But for now all I will say is: Though the Gods of Wales are very connected to this landscape upon which they originate…they transcend their physical locations and exist anywhere they are needed. In my opinion. As the Welsh travelled and told their tales, I believe the Gods relished in the fact they continue to exist within the minds and hearts of folks across the globe.

I feel like the gods and the goddess, maybe we're never alive, but the more us humans work with them the more they become alive we feed that energy and that energy becomes alive, for example Hecate, so many people work with her worship her and therefore her energy is alive because we feed that, and the same with these gods and goddess I'm currently working with Cereidwen, and Brigid then winter time it's the Cailleach, but I'm also coming from Christianity and that's been hard

it´s like one person´s "beautiful goddess" is another person´s "priviliged slave owner". it´s what part of the myths you choose to believe in (just don´t mix childbirth and blacksmithing, i know you can find connection for everything, but no, more likely separate deities). at least with birds if it´s not a "bird spirit" it´s still a bird (don´t get me wrong there are good and bad birds too, some have even shat in my head). but there´s no malicious intent there, it´s just pure instinct (it´s pure because they don´t have to choose, between gut and head, they go with gut every single time). so i agree it´s all in perception.. like to me the sun is everything but the sky worshippers (in our lands) just saw her as the "eye of the sky" (the fools, eyes aren´t even round).

If you look at non monotheistic religions you will see that most are not so hardline and often encourage philosophical and spiritual discussions. a perfect example is the sort of blending that you see in japan between Shinto and Buddhism where these two thing have become quite inseparable and in china many Daoist and Confucianism ideas and philosophy are intricately interwoven this belligerent attitude of my way or the highway that some have demonstrated is undoubtedly inherited from Christianity who respects no belief other than their own.
