It’s called experience lol ,,, there is a huge turnover with these big companies because either of pay and hometime,,, no patience as well lol. Especially if you r new in this business car hauling ain’t for anyone,, the main priority should be learning and gaining experience the money will definitely come with time ,,, That’s in any field …

I called them yesterday, I couldn't get over the 2 week pay period and the 2-4 week training at 2300 every 2 weeks. That's just not doable having 4 kids and wife and being the only one who makes money. Other than that sounds like a good company.

TIM from Canada hospital visits doctor visits. All of that is free. Her every time I hear you Americans talk about your healthcare and how it is supposed to be number one in the world and then here you have to pay for everything. It tells me that it is not number one… if American healthcare was number one in the world, you would not have to pay for anything

I put you as a reference this past Wednesday. I met all the requirements now I’m just waiting because the Baltimore terminal is on hold. When asking the recruiter what that meant she said not enough trainers. Anyways I look Forward to joining the team and thanks for the videos.

That’s awesome and I greatly appreciate you using me as your referral. There’s a couple yards that are having that issue right now I’ve heard that a couple times over the past few weeks. I’d say they should have me put on a class and teach 10-20 people at a time but the issue is then my KZfaq would shut down because I wouldn’t be driving and longer lol

Yeah i reckon they quit sending new hires to michigan for 2 weeks training upon hiring. So its up to the terminal managers to explain a few things and then driver trainers for the majority of it. Im about to start my 3rd week of training someone. Its actually not too bad. Don't see why more drivers wont do it. Its extra $$ per day as well.

@@CarcarrierTv I disagree. With the $250 a day training pay you would/should make as much if not more than your regular. Initially there will be a slowdown due learning/teaching the basics. But after the first few days it will/should become routine. If you have a good regular short run you can train on the basics you can work on daily until you move onto running shadow/parallel. With your knowledge, experience & enthusiasm I think you would be an awesome trainer. I actually met a new driver recently that joined United Road because of your videos.
@CarcarrierTv
@CarcarrierTv 2 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the confidence and maybe someday I’ll give it a try my big problem is like I said I can’t see the 250 making up for what I’d lose. You’ll make 1250 a week training plus about 3200 to the truck with the rates we have. Now most of that is gonna be because I live 6.5 hours from our yard so Monday would be mostly shot traffic dependent and the Friday would be my day to go back home so we’d lose that day most weeks as well

@CarcarrierTv
@CarcarrierTv Жыл бұрын
Hey any time. As for cpm I don’t know I’d say if your already hauling cars you know what your doing so low end you’ll most likely make 1500-2200 a week. Depending on the yard you’ll be out of and how hard you wanna work. I’ll say United tends to have all the work you’ll ever want so it’s up to you to haul as much of it as you can. Now as for the trucks it depends on the yard some have better then others some have lots of sleepers others are mostly daycabs. Now I’ll say you’ll normally get a pretty beat up truck for the first few months then they’ll upgrade you.

Hello, I really like your message about the United Road. But I have concerns about your comment on United Road hiring someone with No Car Hualing experience. I applied with United Road and spoke to someone over the phone trying to get on with the company, I was told many times (at least 3 times of calling) I had to have at least 2 yrs. of recent experience. Now I'm not new to the car hauling industry, I have 18 months in the industry of car hauling, over the road 9 yrs. total of OTR driving. Gave up my CLD moved to California went back to finish college and started a different profession for the past 11 yrs. and decided to go back and get my CDL again November 2021. And the company rep would not give me the time of day And Told Me That I needed to have at least 2 yrs. of recent experience. I have a very clean, clean background with all kinds of high security clearance. I'm only saying something, because you mentioned that they will hire you with no experience. I meet another person that work for the company about 2 yrs. before this and asked him about the company at a truck stop. And he mentioned the same thing you said hiring without experience. I was recently hired with another car hauling company in California about 5 mo. now December 27, 2021, very happy with the company.
@CarcarrierTv
@CarcarrierTv 2 жыл бұрын
Now I can’t really give any guidance about that specifically because that’s not my department. I’m only going off of what I was told by recruiting here. But how they hire IMO will probably change based on a few things. 1st being how bad they need drivers second being the area they are hiring in. Like my terminal was and may still be on a hiring hold because they don’t have any trainers left right now they are all training people. Lastly I’d say requirements might change depending on what you’d be hailing out of the area you live. Like Ik they are much more strict with who hauls Toyota bmw and Mercedes so if you’d be out of one of those yards they may have be much more choosy but I can’t be 100% sure. I’m just spit balling here I have no facts on this just an opinion on why possibly

@@CarcarrierTv I couldn't imagine that . There's plenty of dealers involved in fraud that might even lie and make a claim
@CarcarrierTv
@CarcarrierTv 2 жыл бұрын
I’d say that doesn’t happen often with that kind of transport it’s not like what we do with drop sign and run. I’d say any claim has to be made right there with the driver your involving the company right away lots of photos and cars like that I’m sure multiple parties and body shops are inspecting it. It’s not like a Kia where the dealer just runs it though their shop and charges $600. If you scratch a Bugatti I bet first is a $20k-$30k repaint maybe even shipping it back to Germany then because it would be noted on the vin that it’s been repaired you have a massive 100k-150k loss of value claim. That’s y I’d say there’s no room for any error. I’ve seen those guys take 30-45 min per car unloading them at a truck stop to rearrange them to deliver the next day.
