Women in NYC aren't aiming to play the savior role for their partners. Instead, they're eager to be rescued themselves. They're attending singles mixers in the city, specifically seeking out blue-collar first responders.

I have multiple Uncles who are firemen ❤ I personally don't know if I could marry one myself, for the reasons of I wouldn't sleep when he was fighting fires (I'm from a bad fire section of California) and my aunt said it's really hard because she doesn't get to be with him for more than half a week. I'm not against it tho, I'd learn and grow to be content with the situation... I think ❤ And it wouldn't really matter if we faithfully loved eachother ❤

@legoboy7107
@legoboy7107 22 күн бұрын
@@user-cz5lj2vx1f I'm not sure, from my experience however limited, how much Social Media has actually distorted things anymore sadly, bear in mind almost every 20-something girl you see on average is on and part of social media by default unless she lives out in the middle of nowhere completely alienated from society, meaning that the ones who aren't on social media are effectively a minority in a lot of cases, which means that what's on social media is a large amount of the actual women that age now and thus it's a more accurate depiction of reality these days than we'd all like to think. Even if it was initially a big distortion of things, it's a distortion that everyone was seeing and getting into their heads and so it will just become the reality anyway. Maybe it used to be very true that the internet is not at all indicative of reality, but with how increasingly _everyone_ is on the internet these days, it means this "reality" that supposedly exists outside and separated from the internet is going to just become less and less real with each year as the group of people detached from the internet sphere becomes smaller and smaller. So, and I don't mean this in a rude way, it very well might be possible that you're somewhat out of touch with a lot of 20-somethings, most middle-aged people I see who aren't actively involved in the scene tend to be. Because the reality is pretty noticeably bad, but on the other hand I kinda envy being out of touch with them like that because it means the world you see is much nicer and pleasanter lol, if you don't have to be so in touch with current things then don't because it will only eat your soul away.

Pro tip to all men as a happily married man. Never take advice from women on how to behave as a man. Look to God, work out, study, work hard at a job, have a sense of humor. I promise this is all you need for any woman to feel/be lucky to be with you. The signs were there long before she left, and I was oblivious like most men are when the girl leaves. My advice to you is do what I have done and fill your life with friends. The hardest part of the breakup is the loneliness. I have filled the void she left with many great friends that I have slowly surrounded myself with over the past 8 years, I wont lie, the first few years were really rough, but time does heal all wounds and you just need to keep busy and distracted till the worst of it passes.

Turned out 5' 6", teacher at x-tian school (under $40K), green-grey eyes, kinda stout, thinning hair. But I still got to marry the girl I picked, had two daughters. They're all gorgeous. Good enough.

One thing I learned from forty two years of living that I didn't know Orr believe when I was younger was, yes, women really do care about money and what you earn. Much more than I thought. Men care about looks a lot, women care about money. And those are both instinctive, so there's not much you can do to change that. But it's not a monoculture, men and women also care about other things, and most of us can be very happy with what we settle for (because most of us aren't billionaires or models). We find the beauty in one another and find the value in one another. Some people may just need the right conditions or to help others to see it more. Some things won't impress people up front, like majoring in early childhood education! Or, in my case, philosophy.

Yes----but what did you think you would get out of a 6'2 to 6'4 man other than a man that was just 6'2 to 6'4. Just a little bit of news for you women out there, tall does not immediately translate into "big dick." Its genetics, which can vary wildly!!! You think a tall man can protect you better? Nope. Height is not the trick for protection. That involves physical strength and knowledge of physical protection measures. Tall does not translate to great protection. Just carry a gun if you are worried about protection---but know how to use it wisely and with appropriate legal discretion.

As soon as I got to know him, I found that I literally didn't care about height anymore, even though before, it was definitely on my "checklist". Agreed! My first husband was my height and it was great! He was a hard working, loyal, and fun guy. We only got divorced because we got married too young. But it was amicable and we invited each other to our future weddings! He still keeps in touch with my parents. Even though our marriage didn't work out, I am thankful for everything I learned in that relationship. We have known each other since 8th grade. He is definitely a king, just way better suited for his current wife, as I am way better suited to my current husband.

Two kinds of women get "bored" with healthy. Type 1 - the toxic ones Type 2 - the ones who grew up without a healthy mold to learn from. Type 1 will probably always lean toward toxicity. Only God can change their hearts. Type 2 will eventually realize that they are in a negative cycle and hopefully seek help to break that cycle. Once it's broken, they will look for a healthy relationship and stick to it. It can be very difficult to tell which type you have found. And I understand why your experience would lead you to believe that only type 1 exists. I wish you Godspeed in finding a healthy partner who treats you the way God intended.

I appreciate you so much, Brett. I've been called a man apologist for a long time (and many worse things by my feminist friends) and it is amazing to hear your perspective on appreciating men! It is about time that tide has turned. Thanks for your great show!

The tide hasn't even begun turning. You'll absolutely wish it was being called names-only once You start feeling the tide turning - the society-devastating terror that was "meh-2" and "believe-'em-all" and "toxic masculinity" and "empowering promiscuity" and normalizing or even supporting single motherhood and what imbecilities more we saw the last 30 years ruin our sons _and_ daughters will find seriously harsh reactions and counter-measures once men decide to reinstate societal norms and rules that actually work.

I’ll be honest, I was skeptical about what I was about to hear in this video. I’m relieved that there are some women in todays society, like yourself, that actually have an appreciation & admiration for masculine men, and not only that, when you called out the women who act unrealistically & unjustifiably towards men… that gave me an ounce of hope to remind me that there are still some good women out there. Thank you 🙏

Not only the 1st responders, but the men you make sure youre sewage doesn't over flow, get up on the power lines to make sure your light, ac, fridge, water water etc is working, fixing and building the cars, roads, homes, buildings, work places, entertainment centers, movie theaters, etc, the ones delivering all your packages from Amazon, doordash, etc. much more RESPECT 💚🙏

They'll never understand that and still would go after the tallest white-collar'n tie-guy they can possibly find. Even with us handsy types completely stopping to do their brakes, oil-changes, roofing-jobs or plumbing they would never ever come to terms with the "looking for a guy in finance"-crap social media did plant into their heads. Its the inborn, genetically engraved hypergamy, the Prince-Charming fantasy of every fairy-tale You ever heard, just transferred into the social media era, and turbo-charged by their fatherlessness. And with those 0,05% Prince-Charming blueprint guys actually willing to take advantage of all these li'l dumb, pitifully fatherless girlies that are all perfectly prepared by their single moms and their female peer groups to rather share the same guy instead of putting realistic, healthy standards to the men they're mating with, they will not even understand when they'll be beyond repair and beyond hope in their thirties, carrying around the baggage of a body-count in the three digits ...... Fem Inism doesn' help, either, with its narrative of empowerment by shameless, brainless promiscuity.

This native Brooklyn girl has gone out with many NYPD in the early 90s. There was one particular guy, not only was he NYPD, he was also Marine (desert storm veteran). He was only about five years older than me and ready to settle down and marry, I'm sure being in a war zone gives one a very different perspective on life. But this young 20 something year-old was not ready to stop playing around. By the time, I realized what an amazing catch he was, he was gone. He is my one regret. I have no idea where he is, but I hope he is living his best life, has an amazing wife and kids.

This is a great argument for anyone interested in a serious relationship. Take a deep dive into what your potential partner would want from you and work on those aspects of yourself, in addition to the things you expect from yourself to begin with. I'm not saying women do not work on themselves, lots of them work very hard to improve in life. But rarely have I met a woman that specifically worked on things that would interest a potential mate, outside of superficial things like how she looks. Now this goes for most men too, but at least they usually take on responsibilities at some point in life and work at having a reasonable financial situation, which is attractive for most women. If a woman knew how to cook, or make art or takes care of animals, those would be things I would be very interested in seeing in a potential partner. Simple examples that anyone can pick up and happen to coincide with the things that I also love doing myself.
