Does he emerge in another room on the other side of the wall? Those wires lead somewhere. Maybe he tunnels into a sort of safe room to store all the Z Hunter knives? At any given time I know he’s had about 10 in his home.

Nick you’ve given me a taste for the finer things in life! Now I’ve been stuck on the couch for 2 weeks because apparently spending 300$ on a pocket knife is “ridiculous”. My top 5 users: Work knife: Benchmade grizzly ridge, knife works edition. Insulated and drywalled my shed with it. When I need slicy: Spyderco Smock in 20CV and CF scales. Top fidgety knife: North Arm Skaha 2 in CF. Box opening. Kershaw leek partially serrated. Sharp tip for tape, the serrations are the best thing for easily removing those stupid little plastic strings that hold toys to cardboard. Knife that tends to find its way in my pocket over others: Holt Haptic

I love my Newtron and my Atom but I do wish they were a smidge thinner right behind the edge. The pass through material great but starting a cut isn't quite as effortless as other knives even at 15dps. Tried lots of polishing, more toothy edges and even gone all the way to 10dps and not a big change. Great knife and certainly slices well but I wish it was ground as thing as other stuff, lean into the "not a hard use knife" with something that is 13 thou behind the edge. That said, TRM is amazing to deal with. Had an issue with chipping in the same spot, even after the equivalent of 15 sharpening worth of material, it wouldn't stop so they sent a new one with a return envelope that was prepaid. I would have been fine with sending it in but was *thrilled* with how they handled it. some of the best CS I have ever had.

@@ncsEsper super easy to get them now. Look on their FAQ page or join TiCoons Really Matter group on FB. The drops have been lasting 15 to 20 minutes lately. My most carried EDC knife is probably my Kershaw Atmos. It weighs nothing, has a great action and blade shape, and a relatively deep carry clip. It's also very budget friendly. That said I work in an office not on a construction site, and if I did I'd probably carry something more substantial.

Even if this video was promoted by someone else, thank you so much for making this! I love your reviews, as with many other channels, but I started to notice a trend a few months back that very few knife reviews (that I see, at least) ever go into any detail about how well the knife cuts or what tasks it’s suited for. I learned some time back that there’s no right or wrong way to be a knife enthusiast- barring illegal activities, of course- but I’ve always had a heavy leaning to the actual utility of a knife as opposed to their intrinsic artistic or engineering value. Being very poor, I only own a tiny handful of knives. I’ve always been the kind of person to develop an intense personal bond with my possessions, so that’s fine by me. I daily carry a Spyderco Dragonfly 2, a spear point Case Barlow, and an ESEE Izula. Each knife has a specific role. The Dragonfly is my primary knife since it has such a thin edge and just the right subtle curve of the blade to allow it to slice through any light- to medium- duty material. The Barlow fills the same role, with the added touch that it’s a totally non-threatening design that I can use around people who would otherwise be made nervous even by the tiny Dragonfly. The Izula is my pocket tank. It handles heavy-duty tasks which would damage or destroy my other knives. It’s so absurdly robust that I’ve used it as a shovel to dig up sprouted saplings growing in places I didn’t want them. I’m working toward getting myself a Bark River Mini Aurora in 3V next as an all-purpose hard use knife for tasks that demand more blade length than the Izula can offer.

@@NickShabazz - Apologies Nick. My comment came off a bit too snotty. I was shooting for jest. My bad homie; you’re one of favorite YT creators. I remember getting my brand new Emerson Commander when it won Blade Magazine Knife of the Year in ‘99 (I believe) and one of the first times I used it, I rubbed all the black finish off the blade cutting ceiling tiles. I love the knife now only because it’s an original ‘98 and likely hand-finished by Ernie himself. So I kinda wish I hadn’t done that; however, it taught me to not be afraid to use my blades. I’m just way more careful now. Love and peace!

If I want to slice I just use my Spyderco native chief carbon fiber cpm s90v sprint run. I bought it to use as a great slicer and days after use, I had people on IG mad that I was using it. Didn't know it was a sprint run nor did I know people feel you shouldn't use such a sexy knife. 🤣 I cannot own a knife and not use it. Personally carbon fiber is for structural use and I feel it's wasted on a knife 😬 that said it does make my knife look classy and people like it when I'm doing studio work and they ask to hold it. People say it's big but I have larger hands and it fits them normally and looks like a regular size knife when I hold it. It's an outstanding knife for cutting food when I don't feel like touching up my kitchen blade on the spot. I really wish everyone could see and handle a spyderco native chief sprint run because the fit and finish is so perfect you cannot detect between the solid carbon scales and the lock itself. The lockup is extremely solid and the action is so smooth it tops even blades with bearings I own.
