I know not all of us Christians observe Lent, but to me, Lent is a self tune up for everyone. It's How to prepare for Easter. Its not about "giving something up", its about severely searching your inner most heart, in the light of truth, taking inventory of what is good and what needs to go, putting to death what needs to be put to death, and rising again, with Him, as a new creation. I love your videos. I was going through the most depressing time of my life back in October. I felt no hope towards life, no motivation, didn't even want to get out of bed in the morning. Nothing made sense, everything was worthless and meaningless, I was so sad. I felt so empty. Out of desperation, I went into the youtube search bar and typed, "why do I feel so empty?". Your video on the inevitable emptiness showed up. I wathced it, and ended it in tears, because I had found my answer. And in that moment, I felt a small sense of hope. Since then, I have been seeking God, and I have become closer to Him. I still struggle a lot, but it is safe to say that God healed my depression. Some of the effects still linger, but the emptiness has been reduced more and more as time passes. Thank you. You are truly doing God's work with these videos. Thank you so much.

Jason you are so loved by your Father in heaven. I was only 14 when my relationship with the Father started to grow and I saw fruit. I was bullied in middle school and as I thought about the difference in how I treat people, and how I was treated, the disconnect was that the people that treated me wrongly, didn’t know Jesus. God doesn’t look at you as “just 14,” He sees YOU. He sees the boy whom He crafted in His own image, who was beautifully and wonderfully made, He sees His son Jesus, who reconciled us “just people” to Himself. Love you brotha, keep pursuing deeper and deeper relationship with YHWH, and He will continue to make Himself known to you.

At the time of the Easter lent 2024(My first lent), I felt so close to God that I knew it was something special. I didn't really understand, but I knew it brought me closer to God so I used it whenever I feel far from Him. Basically, I treated it like fasting, and thought fast was more of an American thing while lent more of a thing in my country. Thank you for this explanation, God bless!

I had a 1966 VW squareback...drove my me and my daughter everywhere for several years..and ya had to to a top end on it in my back yard.Found #3 piston in pieces but held together by the rings..but had reliably gotten by for some 80000 miles..we're all broken bent and twisted but the love of Jesus holds us together,in good times and bad.

Porsche didn't just make some of the engines for VW. Ferdinand Porsche designed and built Volkswagen in 1931 at the behest of one Adolf Hitelr. He wanted a cheap, reliable vehicle for the masses. Now, with this all being said, I also want to say I'm very glad I've stumbled onto your channel. I'm pretty certain it was by the Lord's own design. You've made sense out of a lot of issues that plague me in my daily life. Mainly, trying to answer the question of, am I doing what the Lord wants me to do? Am I living the best way I can for him? What can I do to better myself for the Lord? I thank you very much for these videos, and bringing some good sense to these questions

That's good enough for now! That's imperfect. If that's all you have to give for now keep giving. Eventually, hopefully, you'll love Him out of closeness. In a way that you don't want to be separated from Him. Just keep going.

We’ll I love the Lord because for one He chose me as He did with you. He has never forsaken me even in my times of rebellion against Him. When I call upon His name, He is there always for me. My prayers are answered. He showed me His love in suffering the wrath and death I deserved on the cross for me, so that I wouldn’t go to hell. All the good I have in my life are because of Him. When I fall short He does not cast me out but instead loves me and disciplines me. I’m following Him and His word my life has meaning and content. Get to know Jesus, talk to Him, read His word, pray, fellowship among fellow Christians. Some great Biblical KZfaqrs i strongly recommend are Ray comfort, Paul washer, Cliffe knechtle, David Lynn, wretched.

Hi, I love your videos but I don’t understand Lent. When I became a Christian and started to read my Bible… I started to question everything around me. Test the spirit they say! For one, I don’t believe in denominations because it’s all man made, people who couldnt agree on certain practices so now we have a bunch of denominations …2) I don’t find Lent valuable because Jesus didn’t practice this, no one in the Bible does, if anything after reading the Bible I became more fascinated with Jewish culture because Jesus was Jewish. Anyway, food for thought! ❤❤❤ peace ✌️

@@dmishaw9998 I don’t know if you do any research at all, so as you know Lent is a 6 week period leading up to Easter. BUT this trips me up >>>>>Easter has pagen roots… it’s actually an ancient pagen celebration of the spring equinox. The symbol of Easter is the egg which goes back to ancient Babylonians… they believe an egg fell from heaven into the Euphrates river and hatched the goddess of of fertility, Astarte … pagans exchanged eggs as gifts during their spring festival. Doesn’t sound like something Peter would approve . Just because everyone does it and it’s popular does it mean it’s right? Should we just follow blindly … idk I have questions 🤷🏻‍♀️ I follow Jesus not what “Christians” follow. It just doesn’t sit right with me. 🤷🏻‍♀️ idk could be wrong but not really happy about the background of Lent or Easter. Which is why I don’t understand Lent… look I came from a Buddhist background which is absolutely pagen… should I make up a celebration too?? … idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ just 🤷🏻‍♀️

@@studiominono I’ve been attending a messianic synagogue. It’s quite interesting to get a Jewish perspective on the Bible since the most of the Bible revolves around them. I really want to understand my Bible and what better way to get insight than from a Jewish perspective. The Rabbi’s are men WHO are Jewish and are believers who loves Jesus. Yeah I’ve opted out to not celebrate Lent or Easter this year.

Lent is a pagan tradition. It's not in the Bible. Catholic is a pagan religion praying to idols and pagan traditions. Christians don't need to do it or any of the silly stuff associated with it. What's Important is what it leads up too, Jesus dying for our sins and giving us a way back to the Father. Repentance through him is the only way. Prayer through him is important too. I ask Jesus if I need help and usually get it but pray to God too. Once born again you live every day like it, it's not a yearly thing that you do.

@@lilacangelblue2404 I'm Irish and was raised catholic. Fasting isn't a problem I'm saying lent itself is from pagan traditions. It has more to do with the bunny and the egg than Jesus dying on the cross. You won't upset me either I'm just letting people know what I know Whether you believe or not is up to you. They worship Idols it's why they removed the 2nd commandment. They don't give Jesus the credit he deserves all that goes to Mary. Also they have her as the God mother not just a human like she is in the Bible. Go to a catholic church and the priest will forgive your sins and tell you to say 1 Our father which is skimmed down and 20 hail Marys. It's a cult simple as. I know the shroud to be real but it's just an object. You I respect objects nope they are just objects. I don't pray to anyone but Jesus and the father through him. Works too.

The rabbit and the eggs and the 40 day fast are from pagan traditions to Ishtar/Ashera whatever fertility godess they had in whatever region. Catholics are pagan simple as. I ain't arguing as it's stupid just find the truth yourself you don't have to believe me.

I care about you though it's why I'm replying. The pope is a fool and he doesn't have a relationship with GOD. I read the Bible myself instead of just obeying catholic crap. Some priests are pedos if they had a relationship with GOD they wouldn't be and they are forgiving our sins lol. You trust people that contradict what GOD says that's on you. I prefer to trust GODs word over a corrupt pagan religion.
