Two months ago, I simply made a choice that today forward will be without alcohol. It took 43 years to make the choice. It took 4 weeks to set my mind at ease to not missing alcohol. Now, just one day at a time without seems successful. A video like yours helps each few days. Thanks.

Thank you for this. I’m 3 months sober and have read/listened to your book probably 3 times now! I’ve never felt better, training for a half marathon, and sleeping like a baby at night. Sober life is the best! Thanks!

Great video! I really like the idea about learning during a pause from trying. I have to continue to remind myself that the actual alcohol is an addictive, poisonous substance regardless of what the marketing and society tell us. And, as you say, it actually adds to stress and only numbs us for a short time. The alcohol creates the stress and then we use it to numb that same stress. Such a paradox.
