What's a chronograph watch, and how does it work?

(Note: a chronograph can be a chronometer, but a chronometer doesn't have to be a chronograph.)

My Speedmaster 125th Anniversary is a chronometer chronograph. It still runs well. 👋

Hi I’m thinking of saving for a omega sea master quartz because I’m working class and there cheaper is the watch just the same quality with a quartz movement or is the watch overall lower quality thanks for any reply?

It's the same quality with a quartz movement, a real bargain because the snobs turn their noses up at it so you can find one at a good price.

The backlash on the 7750 is annoying! Is this fixable?
