Happy New Year Hannah & Friends! I’m knitting dish cloths (for myself) and a scarf. Nothing too exciting. Really enjoyed the most recent retreat. Need to finish all of the days. I got caught up in Christmas travel & celebrations. Thanks always for the inspiration!

I feel your pain with cardi!! I've been trying to knit a cable jumper for my daughter. Taken it apart 5 times!! Gave it a rest as i was starting to swear at it! Picked it up again yesterday after 2 months hiding away in my wardrobe. Started lovely and about 40 rows in i realised i didn't have enough sts and cablelling was out!! I was not a happy chicken! I have started it again with gritted teeth. No one is allowed to talk to me or ask me any questions. 12 row rpt, if i go wrong again it's going in the bin 😆😆😆

The 12 rows is something I had in the past - trick for me was to do the 12 rows then break and do something else. 12 rows at a time and keep track of shaping by noting which rows shape for each session. Good luck! It’ll work out. 🧶

Happy New Year Hannah, it’s been an unusually frigid holiday week on the North Carolina coast, so I’ve knit a lovely cashmerino ribbed hat just in time for Xmas, during the 21 day retreat…I’m loving it so far. Thinking about my next project while in retreat. It’s a lovely escape from this week of busyness thru Seasonal Affective Disorder😊

Hi Carole, thanks! It was a purchase with another one at beginning of Autumn from Superdry. I knew I couldn’t knit this thanks to the thumb and wrist cramping I get when knitting this kind of texture - it’s fisherman’s rib on every row. Happy new year! 🎉

As always, Hannah, thank you for your videos and sharing. Currently, on my needles is the second sock of a pair of Christmas socks for my daughter. Lol, a bit late, but “slow fashion” it is! My next project will be making another rainbow cowl in a cotton merino blend. I’m excited to revisit your videos and the lesson. We’ve had quite cold weather for our area here in Central Florida, so the first cowl has really been enjoyed. ❤️

You need to speak louder it's very hard for hear what you say you have a little bit of an accent and it's hard especially old people like me sorry

Hi Betty, so go to after 40secs the music cuts out then. And do make sure the volume switch on the KZfaq video isn’t down - it can happen by mistake on the video interface sometimes, rather than on the actual device. The captions can also be switched on too. Happy knitting 🧶
