I love that brown rice. In my family we adds can of mushrooms to it. It was actually the 1st thing I ever made for my now husband. I made it way back when he came to meet the parents. Now almost 23 years later it’s still one of his favorite things I make.

If more women had husbands as encouraging as yours, I think they would find cooking and meal planning and feeding their families much more fun. ☺️
@jendyson67294 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. If someone is kind enough to make a delicious meal for you it should be appreciated. Also if there are kids in the house the non cook of the family can set a good example to them by being thankful and polite. My husband was really firm with our kids about this. Even if they didn't like something they had to be polite about it, there was no saying 'yuck' at our dinner table, lol. I love cooking probably because my husband loves to eat what I make so it makes us both happy :)

Chili without beans is the best! We grew up eating chili over rice and from our kids’ sports teams we discovered “walking tacos”: small bags of Fritos slit open on the side then filled with chili and cheese. Gotta love the variety of ways to eat chili.
