What’s going on? A brief update

Just a Brief update, I’ve been getting slammed with real estate photography business, the pandemic has created all kinds of opportunities for real estate photography. I have some reviews coming, I know a lot of you tubers have panned the new Nikon Z6 Mark ii and Z7 Mark ii pretty hard, I have to be honest I bought the Z6 Mark ii and I think it’s a world class camera! I have some lens reviews coming specifically the Nikon Z 35 mm F/1.8 S lens it’s excellent!

I love my Z6ll and I still enjoy my Olympus system. So many utube influencers love to trash systems to get clicks. I have unsubscribed to many this past year. I have no tolerance for brand wars anymore.

My problem with the Z mount and Canon’s RF mount are 1) no lenses to speak of, and 2) the lenses they do have are enormous and expensive. And if I were to buy slower smaller f/4 zooms or f/2.8 primes for them, then I’d lose any noise advantage of the larger sensor over MFT. I’m sticking with Panasonic, Olympus, and film for now. Thanks for your response Joel! The f/1.8's on the Z mount I think are a nice compromise, they're built a bit better than the f-mount G lenses, and optically they are superb! It's just they're f/1.8. They kind of remind me of the Batis lenses from Zeiss for Sony... I hear you on M4/3 though, I still love Olympus...

This will be interesting because Im a Nikon D750 owner - the Z cameras get such lackluster reviews I was considering a Canon R6. But every now and then you get a KZfaqr giving the Z6II a good review, the last one was Dan Watson and Omar Gonzalez - plus The Bite Shot moved to the Z system for her food photography from Canon.

You are not kidding. I have been doing real estate photography for 8yrs and today I shot 9 homes and yesterday was 8. I typically do 5 a day, but referrals are just pouring in.

Unreal, right? Photos, videos and 360 tours - buyers are using these tools to buy homes without ever visiting the property in person - killer time to be in real estate photography...

Good to see you back. Any reason why the video is flipped mirror image? I thought you were driving on the wrong side of the road and the wrong side of the car 😋

I love your channel and especially your real estate photography, BUT: Please change the settings on your cell phone to flip the image, so the text on your shirt will be readable, your blood work will show left arm and nor the right arm, AND, so no one will think you're driving in the UK telling us "sunny Florida". Have you watched the video? It looks like you're making a left turn while in fact, you made a right turn. I nearly had a seizure. :-) Oh, the shortage of seven million homes in the USA will continue for years to come. You'll be busy. Better busy than bored. Stay healthy. Greeting from Tucson, where we have only one season: Light.
