As someone who's worked in the child care industry for years, usually if the kids actually have 2 parents, both parents work basically the same hours with one parent starting work an hour or two later than the other and then the opposite parent picks up the kid. Or the dad works a 12 hour shift and the mom drops off the kid, goes to worm for a few hours and then picks the kid up again. Rarely do parents find/want to work a job where they can have hours like yours. You're the exception, not the rule.
