Let’s start our very own politeness revolution! We can start using full words again, rediscover our manners, and discover what courtesy is all about. I miss the days when people did not dress like slobs. I miss the days when people knew what manners really were. Just using the basic words of please, thank you, or you’re welcome would be a good start.

Every catastrophic laws, ideas and customs (the so called "Sexual revolution" was the biggest blow), that brought down the western world to it's knees were from the 60's. The 2000's was when we could truly see the consequences. @@aumenarys No idea why you think I was part of the problem! The 60's saw the beginning of the Sexual Revolution and real downfall of morality, but the rudeness and crudeness that is so common on TV today really became commonplace after about 2000. I absolutely love how people weren't afraid to be adults back then. With mid-Atlantic accent (which I presume they received special training) they spoke with such eloquence, civility, and dignity. Nowadays in the U.S, people have no respect for each other, nor the English language for that matter. I love the mid-Atlantic accent so much that I would give anything to be trained in how to speak that way - even if it makes me look like a freak in the eyes of my fellow countrymen.

She is so classy, and has elegance in that proper suit dress. The civility of this show is absent in any tv or cable trash show. Such a great cast and host. This gorgeous actress did not wear a low cut tight outfit, she has the confidence that her looks and class would hold up in a burlap potatoe sack. Her smile reaches her eyes, she is confident but not smug. Even today her beauty reigns still, as she has aged, just a natural.
